great vietnamese OG spot – known for their rice/egg noodles. Can recommend dry thick egg noodles (comes with a soup in the side). Also the beef rice was good.

Service with a smile. Our food came out quickly and hot. My wife found the food to be authentic and flavorful to her taste.

Every time I visit Houston, stopping here is a must! I can’t find hủ tiếu khô like this anywhere in DFW. I always get the dry noodles with the soup on the side and an extra side of their sauce. Mix everything together and add some of their pickled jalapeño…chef’s kiss!
The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of seating for both small and large groups. Service is fast, and everyone is super friendly. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you definitely should!

Another new spot try out, this place must be a hot spot within the community. Because it’s packed during the off hours.
The bread w the cream sauce was just awesome. This is one you need to try for such a simplistic dish.
The Pork Bone was another definitely worth trying as it was cooked to perfection. This reminded me of a BBQ pork shoulder.
The soup for me, compared to other establishments, was kind of bland. This was lacking, but definitely made up for it with the other dishes.
Service was lacking, but as I noted they were packed! (See pic) We didn’t get our drinks until after asking 3 different people. With that many people, it may be loud on your visit as well, just to be aware.
There was also definitely a language barrier, but nothing that couldn’t be resolved with a point of a finger on the menu item desired.
Parking was also difficult, so try parking on the side of the restaurant. As the front was definitely difficult to get a spot. You may be waiting a while.
While it didn’t hit my top spots, it’s worth checking out if you’re into authentic fresh flavors.
Until next time.

“Both the dry and soup Hu Tieu here are delicious! The restaurant is spacious and always busy. Server speak limited English but are very attentive. This place seems to be a favorite among the local Vietnamese community — I didn’t see any non-Vietnamese customers the whole time I was there. The spring rolls are also tasty with flavorful dipping sauce. Overall, great food at reasonable prices!”

Went there for the first time with my Dad for dinner. We both ordered egg noodle dry with soup on the side. For me the noodle was good but I added too much of the special sticky sauce that come with the noodle. I recommend just add 1 spoon of the sauce. I can do without the sauce though. I would just add soy sauce, Sriracha and lime. They specialize in noodle. If you are into egg noodle and clear noodle, come and try for yourself.

I’ve heard good things about this place and was excited to give it a try but the service was horrible. I placed an online order via Seamless (operated through GrubHub) and when I got there they said they didn’t have my order because they didn’t use seamless (even though it’s clearly under the order online tab on their restaurant listing). The lady i talked to wasn’t helpful and I don’t think she even looked for my actual order because she was adamant that they didn’t accept orders through seamless, which led to a lot of back and forth. Also she was very condescending. Long story short, I won’t be back. Thankfully Grubhub/seamless were able to resolve the issue and give me a refund! There are tons of other good hu tieu/ my kho places in the area.

This noodle place for Hu Thieu is among the best in the area. I had some friends that were Vietnamese Chinese and they kept raving about how good this place was. Their crunchy fatty pieces really make the difference in their noodle bowls. Not to mention their sauce is pretty flavorful.
