I have severe allergies and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure what I consume is safe for me. Not just for legal reasons but because they actually care about their customers. I’ve been in the service industry for 25+ years and can tell the difference. I’m not a regular either. Staff is awesome, service is great, food is good even with modifications and prices really aren’t bad for how the market is.

(basically) your choice of chicken/steak/shrimp and rice/veggies
-comes with salad or soup
Great lunch options/prices
It was super busy and I didn’t wait long for appetizers at all.
—> Employee (Sam) is very polite, refills never went empty and she was even willing to take my currently filled cup and make it to go.
Highly reccomend for a nice local bite to eat etc.

My sons love Yamato! They eat at many places all over and if you ask them, this is their absolute favorite restaurant! They would pick this over any other! It is very clean! The food has never not been exceptional! Everyone is always friendly! Most places show times of inconsistency! This restaurant has never! It’s a different dining experience when pride is apparent!

Definitely recommend this place! This is without a doubt one of the best Sushi restaurants I have ever been to! There are so many different types of sushi to choose from I got the Crazy Tuna Roll and Takoyaki (fried octopus balls) both were amazing! The service is also amazing! And this place is also very affordable considering the quality which is very fresh seafood! I will definitely be back!

Yomato in Kittanning is easy to find and we’ve never had an issue finding a parking spot. All of the staff is very friendly and their food is delicious. As you can see from the pictures, we’ve been there quite a few times. The food and service is always excellent and their presentation of the food is the most impressive of any restaurant I’ve been to. My boyfriend orders a variety of sushi, while my personal favorite is their Hibachi Salmon.

We love Yamato. We’ve had sushi in multiple states and this is the best!!! Recommend the monster roll, kittanning roll, spicy girl roll, black angel roll. We also really like the ginger salad dressing. We love all the cute cats pictures!

Stopped in while traveling through the area. Was not disappointed…..superb tastes, excellent presentation and friendly staff. WOULD definitely eat there again if traveling through in the future!!
