Reviews
★★ Only if desperate. Starving, lost, or snowing sideways.
★★★ Forgettable. Safe bar food, like warm socks from a bargain bin.
★★★★ Worth returning. Solid, dependable, no regrets.
★★★★★ The reason you go. Crave-worthy, intentional, makes you pause—how did they make that?
Paradise Grill is tucked-away spot inside the west side mall, easy to miss but worth remembering. The food is solid, and it’s a place I circle back to now and then when I want a change of pace.
The menu covers a lot of ground, and most of it is done well. Burgers, Cubans, brisket, Philly cheesesteaks, even a simple BLT all come out decent and satisfying. Nothing tries too hard, and that works in its favor. One thing that does stand out is the beer selection, which is surprisingly good considering the size of the place.
Is it the destination spot? No.
Is it better than everywhere else? Also no.
But that’s not the point. Paradise Grill is reliable, easy, and delivers what you expect. It lands comfortably at four stars. Worth returning, solid choice, dependable, no regrets.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, clearly made with high-quality ingredients and real passion. Each bite felt like it was carefully thought out and executed to perfection. Even the small touches—freshly baked bread, creative cocktails, and a well-curated dessert menu—made the experience unforgettable.
This isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. I left not only satisfied but already excited to come back. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended! I’ve never had anyone serve me the way Trevin has served me my experience will forever be remembered he is also super handsome
Your comment makes it sound like this is a surprise (oh no) or occasional issue. It is not. Out of 20 comments in the last month, 4 are negative do to random shut downs of the kitchen. You say you value the quality of your food, I’m wondering why you don’t value your customers? You posted that you list kitchen shut downs on your door… but are we supposed to come read when you are open on a daily basis? I would say we could call, but I did and was told you would be open and were not. Instead of apologies, you would be wise to define this as a problem and address it. Rather than excuse the issue away, it might be smart to come up with a solution. You obviously read and respond to comments. You should know it is a issue by now. Imagine what your business might be like if you valued your customers and food quality equally?
Original review:
Rarely do I give a poor review (this is the 2nd out of the current 340), but I called to confirm they would be open, told them I was planning to meet my daughter for dinner, and driving 1.5 hours from Spokane to meet her there. I was told they would be open until 9 pm and they will be happy to see us. I show up and all they were serving was soup because they were putting together a catering order. Saturday at 5:45 pm and they are closed except for soup…
If that is the case, someone definitely should have mentioned it. Reading through some reviews, it appears this happens a lot.
Suggestion to owner:
If you’re a restaurant, advertise as a restaurant. If you’re a catering service, advertise as a catering service. If you’re both, hire extra help to fill catering orders and have service staff for the restaurant. DEFINITELY tell someone who calls 2 hours in advance and tells your staff thay are driving 1.5 hours that all you have is soup during dinner hours.
I always add points for salads with ACTUAL greens and not lettuce. Of course, I had to get the Islander pita, and it was warm, gooey goodness. Needless to say, I slept well.
