Playa Bowls is always quick and spot-on with our orders! My daughter and I absolutely love The OG Açaí Nutella bowl (we skip the coconut flakes lol) and the strawberry banana smoothies are our go-to. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming—makes the experience even better every time!

Just went in at 7pm on Thursday December 11th for a booster smoothie and Nutella bowl. This girl with dark hair in a low ponytail wearing a pink top was extremely unfriendly. It happened once and I let it slide, but when I went to ask a question she was rude and spun around and walked away. Nasty attitude I was shocked at the service. The smoothie is normally my favorite and it tastes awful. I couldn’t taste the peanut butter and it literally tasted like grass and the texture was weird. Whatever they made a mistake that’s fine but then for the Nutella bowl, I said light about. Of coconut please, also I stated I don’t like too many strawberries so please put extra banana and not too much strawberry, and add extra Nutella. There was barely any Nutella, a crap ton of coconut flakes, and a pound of strawberries verses banana… I was shocked. I said please and had a smile when I walked in, I even laughed and made a joke trying to be friendly and this girl was extremely dry. I NEVERA leave reviews, but it made me so angry to be treated like trash when i was so friendly and nice. Will not return.

Playa Bowls in Franklin Lakes is one of my go-to spots. The food is always fresh and full of flavor, perfect when I want something healthy that still tastes great. The atmosphere is welcoming, the place is always spotless, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Consistently a great experience every time I stop in.

I came in with my daughter to get a smoothie, but I accidentally ordered the wrong item. When I realized my mistake and asked the girl at the register if that was what I had ordered, she confirmed it was. I then decided to purchase the smoothies I originally wanted, but the way the manager looked at me was unpleasant.
If you are going to be a manager, it’s important to have a sense of customer service and treat your customers with respect. I would never return to this Playa Bowl if that’s how you treat your clients. I can’t imagine how you treat your employees.

I went to Playa Bowl in Franklin Lakes and I got a bowl that is not on the menu anymore, they did make it for me with no problem but charged me for every topping without bothering to tell me, will not be going back there anytime soon. I usually go to Pompton Plains store and they have never done that are so nice!! Bye bye Franklin Lakes you lost my business!!! So disappointing and I called the manager when I got home and she could have cared less. I am also a very long time and loyal customer !
