Even though the kitchen was closed because of Thanksgiving, they had sandwiches for us. The locals we met there truly made the evening unforgettable — super welcoming and fun.
We’ll definitely stop by again the next time we head down south.
Just an all-around great place to have a good time!
I will definitely stop by when I go trough that area to try out some of their food.
FLY EAGLES FLY!!!
Experience: We did not have a pleasant experience. The music was loud, and the musician did a lot of yelling. We have been to restaurants that have a life band that was entertaining, but this live music was anything but entertaining.
Welcome: When walked in we were the only people of color. I mentioned that because sometimes you are treated a certain way at restaurants just for that one factor. It seemed to be the case during our dining experience here. The waitress never came back to check on us after giving us our food. We had to ask for assistance and the check from a different waitress. If it wasn’t for the uncertainty of what would happen to our food, we would have sent it back. Unfortunately, we live in a world that we cannot trust sending food back because no one knows what an angry chef may do to your food. Overall, we did not feel welcomed and the food we were served aligned with the service we received.
Ambiance: The restaurant was small and tight. There was a live band but due to the size of the restaurant the music was very loud. I did like the décor with the vinyl records hanging on the wall with vintage pictures of musicians.
Food: Appetizers: cheesesteak eggrolls (was not fresh, could not taste any cheese) and goat balls (overcooked and not hot).
Entrée brisket sandwich on brioche roll with fries (brisket was not hot and was definitely not the higher quality beef and the fries were old and overcooked) the bun was the best part of the meal. My boyfriend had cheeseburger on kaiser roll with baked beans and fries (cheeseburger was warm as if it had been sitting under a heating lamp and his fries were burnt, overcooked, and stale) the baked beans were the best part of the meal.
The cocktail tasted like soda as if there was no alcohol in it at all. The iced tea tasted old which would explain what the waitress meant when she said they are not use to customers asking for non-alcohol drinks.
Price: The quality of the food was terrible, and the quantity would have been satisfying if the food would have been good. Our food was not worth the price!!!
Will NOT be returning to this restaurant!
Stars: I give it 1 stars.
Tip: I would not refer anyone I know to this restaurant. The food was not good, service was poor, and it was overpriced.
