My son and I were pleasantly surprised at the authentic Mexican Cuisine and flavor and even more impressed with the chips and salsa bar which comes free with your purchase an overall we were just totally psyched out of our minds that we found a fast food style Mexican place with authentic cuisine let’s go baby!!!

The food is great when they get your order correct. You have to check it before you leave the store every time because for some reason this location can’t seem to pack your order correctly. I’ve been eating at Taco Palenque ever since I discovered it down in the valley. I just wish this store would tighten up and get there ducks in a row when serving Togo orders

Atmosphere is always great and so are the people who run your food. I come here multiple times a month and all of the sudden the large drink that comes with my meal became a small. When I asked they said we don’t use the large drinks anymore. The price haven’t changed and they could’ve at least changed it on the menu or kindly advise customers.
Update. Opening my food became more upsetting as my taco had only 2 1/2 strings of fajita, this meal is definitely not worth $17.

I visited this location in the early morning for breakfast and this was my second visit. The first time I ordered the bean and cheese breakfast taco, the chorizo and egg breakfast taco, and a small order of the charro beans. The beans were absolutely amazing! Ordered through the drive thru. Service was quick, fast, and friendly. Prices are reasonable and staff is very friendly. My second visit was even better and I was very happy with my experience and my order. This time in the drive thru I met Ms. Sofia M. and her customer service was super helpful and she was super nice. She was very friendly with me and answered all of my questions with great care about items I wanted to know about from the menu. This time I ordered a super sized order of Charro beans! They were so fresh, seasoned perfectly, and portioned perfectly! It also came with 6 fresh tortillas, your choice of corn or flour. What a great combo! The care in the packing exceeded my expectations. I was concerned they might fall over or spill during my drive back but to my surprise when I arrived to my destination and opened my bag. The packaging was done with great care and consideration. I am very pleased and grateful for such thoughtfulness. I will definitely be visiting again soon and I plan to tell my friends, coworkers, and family about it. Thanks for the great food and awesome experience. Special thanks to all the great staff and cooks for their hard work.

What a really shady staff that gave me this order and on top of it take forever and when I said something act like I did something wrong. I got cold food and literally watched 2 couples order, sit and have their orders brought to them. The food is good but be sure you get your money worth. As a reminder to the owner, these other places out here charge less and feed us, wrong city for this shady stuff. And let me mention, get some staff who understand us. I speak Spanish but being bilingual goes a long way.

Food was decent nothing to write home about or brag about. Prices are not too high, but based on quality of food, you get what you pay for.
It took nearly 20 minutes to get a Margarita and of the maybe 25 customers in the place our party had 15 of them… We were completely done with our food by the time we got our drinks.
They do have a chips and salsa bar, that was cool and their tortilla chips were homemade, those were the best part of the dinner. Honestly, I also like their corn tortillas, but not the ones from the street tacos, those were very oily.

We ordered take out 4 weeks ago 2 nights in a row because it was so good! Last night 5/3/25 We ordered take out again, looking forward to the chili conqueso, guacamole salsas, chips, and street tacos. WOW! is all I can say. If I wanted canned cheese I would have gone to a baseball park where you would expect this. I had just bragged about this place to others and now I am embarrassed! The COOK really does make or break a place! First, I called to ask if I would get chips with each salsa, guacamole and chili conqueso or if I needed to order chips separately and the young man that answered stated if you come through drive thru and you ask, I will put a small bag in free! And I asked with each salsa, dip….he never answered my question so I just ordered a large bag. So I will not be ordering from here again. I have spent $50 -80 dollars each time. The guacamole was just avocado. So sad

I always go there for the queso dip because I like it but this last time they put way too many tomatoes I’m paying $7 for cheese dip not tomatoes I ordered cheese dip not tomato dip why are you going to have something good going and then mess it up by adding too many tomatoes it doesn’t make sense

I definitely don’t understand the rating for this restaurant. We were visiting family in JC on Christmas Eve and looking for something to eat so we got some to go food from this restaurant. Mind you we have traveled all over the US and Sourh America and this is 100% the worst “Mexican” food we have EVER had. We ordered crunchy and soft tacos and what the….did we eat? The meat had the texture of like wet dog food, when I first picked up what I thought was a bean was actually “meat.” The only thing that was good from our order was the crunchy tortilla shell. I don’t say this to exaggerate but that food was so bad we didn’t even feed it to our dog and just threw it all away. Had it not been for the fact that it was Christmas Eve we definitely would have called and asked for a refund. If you are like me and go by reviews of others please do not eat here if you enjoy good food. But if you want uncooked flour tortillas or meat paste as your meat of choice then by all means. I don’t say any of what I said to be mean but I say this as a family of 4 that all agreed it was beyond nasty and just wasted money on this expensive pig slop. I seriously wish we had taken pictures to prove the mess we got. Buyer beware!

The place is good, but it’s not very crowded, which creates a very calm atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the tables are clean. The food is good, but it’s a bit pricier than I expected. For two people, the total came to $42. The food felt like it was from a restaurant, but the atmosphere felt like a fast food place. I’m not sure if I’d come back again because it was a bit pricey.
