My husband and I were at the library and asked were is a good place to eat at they sent me to Roger’s Park place cafe it’s a short walk there. My husband and I found this hidden jem after looking around and we were pleased to find it. It was a cool little place downstairs looks like there was a back door to a parking lot. We ordered the 4th of July special hamburger steak it was cooked to perfection. There was so much food we had to take a doggy bag with us. We were there for a bit the lady there was so nice and friendly telling us how to get to our next adventure fishing downtown! She told us landmarks to watch for and it was only a mile and a half away . So if you would like to have some great food at old-fashioned prices with super nice people then this is a gem you should find cause it’s so we’ll worth your time in finding it. It’s not just for the locals to enjoy anyone who comes in the door is welcome!

This is one of the best hidden places to eat in Wilkesboro the owner Sheila is a wonderful person her mother who is the cook is amazing some of the best food I’ve had in years you’ve got to try her meatloaf and her green beans are awesome this is a wonderful family ran business I would recommend it to anyone over any of the restaurants in Wilkesboro for home-cooked food thank you guys for being a blessing and being here sincerely Leslie Hanson
