First timer. Had heard good things and went for lunch. Food was great and presented nicely. Good variety of options. Menu prices are by far the best in town for the quality of food you receive. Will definitely come back and try out more of the menu. Today we had the Korean tacos, steak bowl, and pulled pork sandwich. All of which were excellent. – I would like to see a dinner service. I’d come for dinner.

Fantastic and creative cuisine from a long experienced chef with plenty of accolades to show, but won’t — down to earth people, always friendly, always having a good time. Personally, the mouth watering Bistro Bison Burger is my go-to lunch and all of the sides are delicious. Rarely a wait, especially if you call in (which I usually do). If you haven’t yet, give Bistro 1188 a go, you’ll be happy you did.

We stumbled across this bistro while on a road trip and what a great find! We stopped for lunch and had the chicken pot pie, pasta salad and potato salad. Everything was fresh and served in perfect lunch portions. But what really stood out to us was the way each dish was flavored – interesting little tweaks that made everything truly delicious!

Great burgers! Both the beef and bison were super tasty and purportedly, hopefully, both are pasture raised. They were topped with fat slices of ripe tomatoes, delicious house made pickles, arugula, picked onions and black garlic aioli. Potato salad was unique and among the best I’ve ever had.
