The absolute best sushi place I have ever eaten and I have traveled all around the world. The service is impeccable the staff is so nice and remembers when you return. They keep this restaurant incredible clean and the music is authentic and peacefully instrumental. The lighting is lower and perfect for a nice romantic calm evening out. You won’t regret it! Try the unagi and dynamite roll. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!

The food was really tasty – we ordered California, Philadelphia, and Tempura Shrimps Sushi Rolls and seafood soup, and we really liked it! And the service was great, the staff was very polite and friendly, and the restaurant was really clear.

Small and cozy little Japanese restaurant. I absolutely love their 2 roll sushi lunch special. You get to select 2 rolls from a decent selection, choice of salad or soup all for only $11.99. Their ginger dressing is probably one of the best I have tasted. They also have a good selection of lunch specials from the kitchen.

Omg what can I say about this restaurant. It’s my favorite place to go. It’s always the same flavors nothing changes. The people are friendly. I have tried almost all foods with my hubby. The owner he is so kind and personable. They are very detailed oriented. The food is amazing is especially their clear soup I love the extra crunchies in it. I have most of my pics I just forget to take pics when I go bc I’m in a rush to eat it. Lol the best place in Jacksonville for sushi. Clean, friendly and great food.

I found a long white hair in one of my sushi rolls , and when I told the waiter he insisted that that was my own hair which I found very disrespectful, I pulled it outside of the sushi piece and my hair is all black btw. I am writing this review since I don’t think I will ever be able to get over this and want to eat sushi again, and second, the ratings if this restaurant is misleading and should by no means be this high. They offered to take half the price of that sushi, but … 5$ for getting disgusted for the rest of my life about sushi.

Bought the pork katsudon and Unagidon plus one piece of crab stick sushi. Price $40. Price was more than advertised because the menus outside only reflect lunch pricing? Which I understand, but it was a shock to me that they essentially DOUBLED the price they advertised. Food made me violently sick for 48 hours. Still recovering. The sushi was good, I’ll give them that. It’s basically a typical American style Japanese restaurant that caters to people who don’t know anything about Japanese cuisine. There’s nothing Japanese about the interior, the food is all Americanized, no one speaks Japanese, everything is oversalted and slathered in mayonnaise. I was very unhappy about the food making me stick. RIP my toilet.

Super chill experience and my regular spot in town. Chef is highly knowledgeable on fish and the sushi itself. Staff remembers me and my wife and I appreciate that. Fast, clean, and delicious. Also they have specials on the wall too!

Tried this place for the first time and it was okay not the best.
Here’s what we tried
Clear soup & miso soup – 8/10 it was good nothing was wrong there
Seaweed salad – 5/10 wasn’t the best, taste a bit odd to me + no flavor.
California, Philadelphia, rock and roll and spider roll – 6.5/10 some stuff were abit interesting in the roll that I didn’t really like.
Overall it was a great experience to try but I wouldn’t say I would come back though.
