Tried it for the second time today and got the chili tots and a Mr bacon pizza and whoever made my food this time did great. You can tell they care and put effort into what they were doing. Thanks guys! Keep it up!

Great experience! Stopped here while visiting our son. We had the O MY CURDS appetizer to share. My son and daughter each had the vintage burger. My husband had the Carb Melt, and I had Greek Chicken Wrap. Our waitress was super nice and the service was prompt. All of our food was delicious. Will definitely patron again when in the area!

Food: The food at J’Ville Grille is always delicious. No complaints there – at all!
Atmosphere: Friendly, but it gets SO loud when it is crowded, though… Uncomfortably loud.
Service, however, can be hit or miss. Today I brought my grandsons and daughter-in-law for lunch. We arrived around 12:20 pm and seated ourselves. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy, though there were a good number of patrons. It was clear the gentleman working was handling both the floor and the bar, and was clearly understaffed, yet doing his very best. I was as patient and gracious as possible given the situation.
He took our drink order right away, and we placed the order for the kids right then. Their food came out almost immediately. Unfortunately, our order wasn’t taken until around 12:55 pm, when a younger female employee walked by and I politely asked if she wouldn’t mind taking our order, which she did.
We both ordered the raspberry chicken wrap (delicious!). She asked if we wanted fries with that, and I replied, “Oh, it comes with a side?” She confirmed that it did and verbally stated the side options out loud, but did not mention that any of the options carried an upcharge. Based on that, I chose the onion rings (also delicious!), while my daughter chose sweet potato fries, which were delicious as well — and a MUCH more generous portion than the onion rings, sadly. Did I mention they are delicious? 🙂
Once we received our food and were finished eating… I had to flag down an older female employee to get our check. I was surprised to see we were charged $4 per side. When I explained the earlier interaction regarding our sides, her response was simply, “Well, it’s on the menu,” delivered with an unnecessary attitude & look on her face like I was to blame. An apology of any misunderstanding and an offer to remove the up-charge, which I would have politely declined, would have been more effective & appropriate considering the cost of 10 slices of onion and one sweet potato… Is that REALLY worth insulting me?
That response, unfortunately, affected the remainder of the experience. I am someone who always tips at least 20%, especially when staff are short-handed and doing their very best, but in this case the lack of courtesy and accountability resulted in a much smaller tip than I normally leave. Truthfully, she’s lucky I left one, at all, due to her attitude!
The food is consistently excellent and keeps me coming back. I just hope service consistency — and communication — improves.

We have seen this place so many times and said we needed to stop in, and tonight we finally did! We were greeted and told to sit wherever we liked. Our server, Morgan came over a few minutes later and was friendly throughout! The atmosphere was so friendly and relaxed. There was also live music during our dinner which was very enjoyable. All the food came out timely, fresh and DELICIOUS. We will absolutely be back to try everything else on the menu!

Nicole was our server, very unfriendly. Served our food, never came back to ask how everything was, if we needed anything else, never cleared the dishes, my dad had to ask for another beer as his EMPTY glass sat at the edge of the bar more then once. I had a bowl of half/half cream of crab/ crab soup and there was barely any cream of crab and not much flavor. As many times as the bartenders walked by ( 4 of them) not one acknowledged customers or asked if anyone needed anything. None of the staff were very friendly.

The pictures of the menu on Google did not match the menu they actually had. I was sad that i couldn’t have the meatloaf.

Burgers are good. Bar is very loud and back dining hall is never used for some reason. People who just want to have dinner should have the option of going back there so they can hear each other. Other than that, nice bar scene, early close.

J’Ville Grille is a great place to eat. I can’t assess the bar because I just went there for a meal.
They serve big appetizers. The crab stuffed pretzel could be a meal. The chicken tenders are large and lightly breaded, but they’re kind of dry. The salad is fresh and delicious, and the salmon on top is excellent.
The shrimp with cocktail sauce was very good, although the cocktail sauce could have used a bit more horseradish. The French fries were delicious. The crab soup was very good. This is Maryland so they use the right kind of crab meat, and they know how to prepare it
The prices are reasonable, and there’s ample free parking out front. I highly recommend this restaurant. I took off one star because the chicken tenders weren’t juicy enough, and the cocktail sauce wasn’t spicy enough.
