If you see this sign, walk into this breezeway, and come into this food Eatery parlor, you will see it’s lined with different venues for food

I followed the signs into Bad Nonnas I want to find nothing but greatness!

With amazing customer service they were fast to put me in direct line with a plant-based meatball sub, vegan safe of course!

Since I had never been here and there were so many different smells coming from this small little spot where this kitchen front is, I noticed they also had a build your own pasta with egg free noodles, so I had them throw me together a vegan pasta to take home for my dinner tonight
I can’t believe I got two meals for under $25!

It wasn’t just good, it was super, no it was Baaaaad!

We love trying new places and while searching for italian, we came across bad nonna’s and we decided to give it a try based on reviews. Honestly in my opinion, food was average and little overpriced for a fast food kind of environment. Eggplant Parmigiana was salty and Italian nachos tasted like too many flavours. Bruschetta was delicious though. They have many options on the menu but not sure if we would give it a try based on the first experience.

I feel like the food us over priced (just my opinion, you try it and make your own opinion) the Spinach Artichoke toast was gross in my opinion. Would not recommend, and I love Spinach Artichoke anything…..but not this. I also got the Rosie Ravioli, it was good, but not sure $14 worth goof. My Mom got a salad, spaghetti & bruschetta. Not sure what she thought. It is also SUPER loud in there. It is self serve. And more like a bar atmosphere.

Heard great things about Bad Nonna’s when searching online for Italian food and decided to give it a try.

Similar to some reviews, it is not immediately clear where the place is as it is within a building call Parlor.

There are other eateries in the building and once you enter, there is a signage directing you between the first and second level.

Our party of five ordered a variety of pasta and the ones with the white sauce is creamier than the marinara. My Chicken Pamesean has too much water at the bottom of the bowl which tool away from the flavor. There is a generous of chicken though.

I ordered this restaurant through door dash and it wasn’t up to satisfactory. You only get a sandwich for $15 without a side. Too overpriced. Then, my plant based meatball sub was too salty I ended up getting a headache. My husband had to go out and get more food late at night because his plant based sub was completely burnt. I’m a chef and I would never send out a dish that looked like charcoal especially if customers are spending that much for a meal. I would not be ordering from this place again. If you are vegan you will be disappointed . My husband and I try to be healthy and if I was a diabetic , I would’ve woken up in the hospital because of how salty those meatballs were. The sandwich was impossible to eat because of poor packing . Shame on the cooks for that charcoal because you wouldn’t feed your family that garbage.

I love trying new places and my friend Miranda is a vegan so it’s interesting to find places with that option. The food was fresh and delicious. She had the no meat meatballs and loved them. I had a meat penne that was out of this world. Thanks for the great atmosphere and fabulous food.

Hi Yall,
Bad Nonna’s is in the Parlor building on the second floor. There was no sign outside the building when we went and we almost left. Don’t do it! You’ll regret it for the rest of your life!!! Bad Nonna’s is da’bomb! Super yummy comfort food. Pasta mostly. Ok, we got Rosie’s ravioli and Mac & Cheese with added grilled chicken. It was the best Mac I’ve had all year. My sweetheart had the ravioli, it was sooooooooo good. So, this is how much we loved it. When we got ready to leave we had to get a second helping of the ravioli and we left with half of our original servings. The staff was friendly and helpful. Say hi for us! Go yall. Ya won’t regret it.

What we got: 2 side Caesar salads, side of garlic toast, spaghetti and meatballs & geaux queen

What I thought: Fresh and delicious! That Caesar dressing was so bomb, best dressing I’ve had anywhere in a good while. Our food came out piping hot, the serving sizes were just right. If you’re a self professed fatty you probably won’t like the serving sizes, but they get the job done and then some. Loved the marinara sauce and the meatballs were great too. Pasta melted in my mouth, I don’t think I have ever had homemade pasta before and I’m hooked. The geaux queen was delicious and delightfully different, the flavors doing a lovely dance in my mouth. Of course I had a few bites of that dish because sharing is caring.

Final words: Try it out! You won’t be disappointed!! Great spot to get your Italian craving fix.

Ok just to say this up front: this is located inside Parlor, which has a bunch of restaurants and bars inside. The signs were not great, so it took us a minute to realize Ban Nonna’s was in there. From the sidewalk/street, look for the sign that says “Central Exchange” then go inside the building called “Parlor.”
It was delicious! I got vegan pesto and added some vegetables, and it was awesome, quick, and priced well for the quality.

Light dinner at Bad Nonnas. The pasta was delicious and the bruschetta was fantastic. There are a few dining options. It’s a two floor building. We sat at the second floor. There’s a bar on both floors. The bar upstairs was very cute and had some chill vibes. Great prices for the meals.
