The place decorated nice for the holidays.
Parking was plentiful when we went. Seating had lots of availability for our visit. I saw a couple tables that could seat up to 10 people.
The food was delicious! Service was very friendly! They even apologized for having our order pushed back a bit due to a large call in order.

Hadn’t ordered in quite a while until last night (2-24-26). For grinders costs of over 16 each I used to get a hefty sandwich. Seems now the meats are pretty skimpy. Taste wise they were spot on but definitely not the sandwich of past.

This has been a staple since I was a kid. I judge all other grinders/subs against their bread. It’s so French and fresh. Crispy, yet so chewable, without cutting your mouth like a spoon of Captain Crunch. That’s the best part. They aren’t handing you a loaf of bread with a little filling and calling it a sandwich. The ingredients and bread compliment each other perfectly. I’ve always gone for the Italian, which I love for its excruciatingly terrific blend of flavors. Last week, my mom and I stopped in for a quick lunch snack and shared a half turkey club. Wow! Another delicious option.

I like that you can get a fantastic, LOCALLY MADE, combo for $10. That’s less than just about any fast food restaurant and you don’t have to get crumbs all over your lap. Does it take an extra seven minutes? Yep! … because it’s FRESH and made to order. So slow down, stop in, pull up a chair, nod at the locals, and have yourself a real meal.

We did notice two nice ladies having a get together over a heaping pile of hot nachos. It looked like a party tray. It was glorious. If you’re not from around here, it’s worth the trip.

I’ve also had the ham and cheese. So…hammy!

I used to eat here when I was a kid. Loved all the pizzas, baked grinders and nachos. Thirty years later as an adult I had the chance to come back. I have never found a better grinder anywhere. Wow this place is good. Nostalgia fulfilled.

Called for a pizza last night was told 15 minuets, when I got there it hadn’t even been made yet. There were 4 other people waiting for there food to. After about 25 more minutes I finally got my pizza. The food was good. Looks to me like to much goofing around by the young people that work there and on top of that a girl with long black hair came in and walked in the kitchen and made herself some fries distracting them even more

(Edit: We went to Mancino’s today 9/16/22 around 8.30 pm. We placed an order over the phone before heading there to save time. The guy over the phone was plain rude, kept saying he couldn’t hear us although we were in an empty parking lot whereas he had music blasting in the background. But he kept telling us he couldn’t hear us. Anyways, we went there to pay for the order at the register and the young guy wearing a hat who appeared to be having a bad day was least interested. He was charging us more for our order, then he made the correction when we had to bring to his notice about the incorrect pricing. He had a big frown on his face. He came out after few mins and just left the pizza on our table, we said thanks, to which he had no response. While we were eating, he kept telling something to his co-workers about us and kept staring. He came back to clean other tables, We told him the Pizza was nice to which he replied in a rude way “Have a good night”. This guy who was running the front register today(9/16/22 8.30 pm) has zero customer service skills. We love Mancino’s and refrain from writing negative comments about any place but this guy was absolutely the worse. He needs a lesson in customer service asap or Mancino’s will end up losing customers because of his garbage attitude. )

Had heard a lot about Mancino’s Pizza. Maybe had it once but It wasn’t same as sitting in the restaurant

Finally went and ordered a Large cheese Pizza for Dine-in. Dine-in is limited because of Covid and the restaurant was really busy for Carry outs. Had to sit for sometime before we finally got our pizza. But it was totally worth it. Probably the best Pizza here in Kalamazoo. The Crust, sauce, cheese were perfect. Usually we leave out the crust but the crust was really tasty and perfectly baked. The Large Pizza with 1 topping for 10.99 is a great deal.

The Restaurant appeared to be clean and appears to be following all safety protocols. Customers are keeping distance while ordering.

I haven’t had the privilege of picking up Vegie Grinders for us for a year or two. Before moving we would occasionally visit the Mattawan eatery and we were Always Very Pleased. I purchased 2 VEGIE GRINDERS, no meat for a cost of $18+. When he handed me the bag I this 72yr old noticed they were “light as a feather”. I thought weird. Upon getting back to home to Vicksburg and opening our grinders I am Shocked. These sandwiches were ALWAYS LOADED WITH VEGIES and some cheese. There, as u can see in the pictures are Barely any vegies and the bread is also competed dried out. It also has shrunk….3″ wide maybe. Very dried out. $18.00 for this? I rarely eat out and this is robbery. Come on Mancinos……..this is not You or IS It?
What a BUMMER….what a disappointment to this ole gal.it

SUPER disappointed in my experience with Mancino’s today.
Ordered over the phone for an online lunch pickup – ordered 3 grinder sandwiches and was charged for 4. Specifically mentioned the salad and the ham & cheese grinder were to NOT to have tomatoes, these two items received had tomatoes on them. – person could not eat them due to allergy.

Called to speak with someone in regard to the issues & was told they cannot refund us as the owner will only put a credit on our account. Asked to speak with the owner and the resolution was she “would speak with the crew to have them listen better & they would only be refunding for the extra sandwich, but the person with the allergy should eat the extra sandwich that you received and being refunded for”

To say this is disappointing is an understatement. We, as a family, have been coming to this establishment for over 20 years & have NEVER experienced service like this before.
Can’t say we will be back…
