Currently each sushi roll dish is about $4.99
Instead what happened is that they let two huge parties go ahead of us, and we were seated 35-40 mins late. You can probably guess the next part, but they ran out of said blankets by the time we were seated.
Since it was almost closing time there were no more new sushi plates being made. All empty plates. So the dining experience was not good either. Bad, delayed service and not even a good meal. Maybe next time. Or maybe not. There’s better conveyer belt sushi places.
The manager also came out to speak to us. I thought he was going to try to resolve the issue in someway, but all he did was deflect and try to pass the blame onto the second manager on shift. The manager said, and I’m paraphrasing since english is not his primary language, “I was on break 20 minutes ago, when I got back I saw there were no sushi on the conveyer belt, I’m trying to get more made. There’s another manager on shift.” In other words, trying to say it’s not his fault. Was that supposed to make us feel better? That the buck keeps getting passed onto another person? Utter incompetence.
Baited with a cross promotion that ran out due to them delaying our reservation and they couldn’t even feed us properly at the very least. Oh, and when we tried to pay and leave to have an actual meal elsewhere, their checkout system was bugging out and the server couldn’t figure out why. He was actually asking what (few) dishes we had to “troubleshoot” the issue with us. That’s not our job. Are we supposed to memorize the plates we chose? It took us around another 10 mins to get out of there because of their incompetence.
The biggest failure is the fact that we left hungry because there was basically no conveyer belt sushi left in a conveyer belt sushi restaurant. We ate dinner at another location instead.
THE SUSHI HERE IS SO DELICIOUS.
I HAD A CALI ROLL AND IT TASTED SO DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER PLACE .
THE ROBOT WITH THE DRINKS ITS SO CUTE. I WILL RECOMMEND YOU TO COME AND TRY THIS RESTAURANT ITS AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE.
I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK TO TRY THE REST OF THE FOOD
When we alerted that we needed service, waiter never came to check on our table, they’d walk by multiple times, and to be honest it felt like there was an intentional ignorance of just not wanting to stop by the table. We had a hard time paying and overall the experience was just incredibly disappointing compared to the expectations we have of Kura. A I mentioned, the food was great and the revolving bar was kept stocked better than I’ve ever seen at a Kura. The kitchen staff are definitely doing an excellent job, but the other staff needs some customer service training.
We will be back!
You even have the option to order specific plates, drinks, and deserts that arrive on the top rotating track.
The cutest little robot brings out your drinks, and you even have the option to win prizes over time.
