If you’re looking for a cozy, locally owned breakfast spot with personality, Pilgrim restaurant absolutely delivers.
One of the standout surprises? Their non-traditional fried mush — made pancake-style instead of the usual savory slices. It leans sweet rather than classic savory, and it totally works. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect if you like a breakfast with a slightly sweeter twist.
The chorizo omelette was plentiful and satisfying — generously filled, well-seasoned, and hearty enough to keep you full well past brunch. Definitely a solid choice and something I’d order again without hesitation.
And let’s talk about the breakfast special — great value and genuinely tasty.
The biscuit and gravy deserves its own mention. The biscuits were soft, fresh, and fluffy — the kind that soak up the gravy just right without falling apart. The gravy was rich and comforting, tying everything together perfectly.
Overall: Pilgrim restaurant was a pretty great experience, good portions, fair pricing, and that welcoming local feel that makes you want to come back. Would absolutely return. What a great start to our vacation week! Thank you.

Great breakfast in a nostalgic location ( think orange roof). Tara was excellent, efficient ( and it was busy) and made great suggestions. We would definitely eat here again.

We were planning on going to another restaurant but it was too busy and luckily found the Pilgrim Restaurant. The service was friendly and fast. My husband had the Beef Manhatten and it was really good. I had the Chef Salad. It wasn’t outstanding but it was good. The green beans were some of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely come back when we travel to or through Findlay. Highly recommend.

Little diner right off the highway. Had very friendly staff. Good food. Nice small town vibe as soon as you walk in.

This was our first time here. I brought my daughter and granddaughter here for breakfast and the waitress named Keri was totally amazing. Even as a busy as they were she took the time to fancy up my granddaughter’s pancakes with a 🙂 and sprinkles and then gave us a to-go box, for her leftovers with a special message Merry Christmas ☺️ . And I can see why this place is packed.

Pilgrim Restaurant is just off I 75 and Rt 15. They are mostly a breakfast & lunch restaurant and close at 2 pm. Not much to speak of from the outside but once inside it is clean and friendly with a small town vibe. The server was friendly. The food was served within a reasonable amount of time, was hot, tasty, sufficient size serving and reasonable priced.

Must go inside….
Cozy, clean and nice portions of food. The pilgrim omelette was super food and loaded for a reasonable price. The only complaint I have is the parking is tight and the chairs at the table are very basic and not super comfy. The waitress’ were all nice and kept the hot coffee coming!

I sat at the counter and received excellent service. The coffee was fantastic, and the staff made it feel like a true family restaurant—everyone seemed to have a warm connection with the customers. The only suggestion I have is to consider changing the TV channels to something more engaging or adding some background music to enhance the atmosphere.

Don’t let the outside fool you. The Pilgrim is a local gem. We were granted by the owner. The mushroom Swiss burger and Rueben sandwich were tasty. Service was attentive and quick. Prices are surprisingly good. Can’t wait to try breakfast.
