From the moment I walked into Gourmet City, I knew I was in for something special. The space is clean, bright, and welcoming. It’s perfect for a casual meal or celebrating with a crowd.
They have an incredible selection of sushi, Mongolian BBQ, Chinese classics, seafood like crab legs, shrimp, jumbo shrimp, and lobster. There’s something for every palate and everything tastes like it was carefully prepared.
They have Boba drink for free and varieties of ice cream I have never seen in any buffet before.
They can also cook your food there
Their staff are quick to clear plates, refill drinks, and make sure you have what you need.
It’s worth the price! For an all-you-can-eat buffet with such quality and variety, the price feels more than fair.
I’ve dined at many buffets around L.A., and Gourmet City is among the very best. Highly recommend it to seafood lovers, families, or anyone who wants to feast without compromise. I’ll absolutely be back!

This place needs to be reviewed for its food. Not sure why but the lobster was extremely slimy and gross. Also there is NO meat in the claws or any of the limbs of the lobsters. The food was stale and left out for longer then expected. The only decent thing were the crab legs. They ARE NOT snow crab legs they are just regular crab legs. Nothing special about them other than the fact that they actually had some decent meat on it. The orange chicken was mushy and gross. The lo mein was actually the only good food there in my opinion. Paying a damn near $90 for two people to eat you would think that they are the freshest seafood around ESPECIALLY since it’s like 20 minutes FROM THE OCEAN. I would like to think that any seafood buffet would have the freshest seafood around in California but even Utah has better seafood than this restaurant. Can’t imagine ever going here again when I visit California. Not worth the $90 and not worth the visit.

They serve your typical asian buffet dishes they have a sushi bar and a salad far as well as a ice cream and a sweet bar all the food looked good they also have a boba station that is included with your entry an is all you can drink. The place is nice

The dishes are constantly being cleaned from your table.
Now price wise it’s a $20 regular lunch price and 35 for holidays today is Martin Luther king day so they wanted to charge as a holiday seems a little out of reach. Also there is a 10% service fee?!?! That isn’t notified at the front desk. And there is signes of being charged if you don’t eat the food in your plate.

Great variety of dishes! You can enjoy Mongolian and Korean cuisine, sushi, Chinese dishes, seafood, Boba Tea, a wide selection of coffee, fresh salads, soups, meat and fish dishes, ice cream, fruits, vegetables, and desserts. Excellent balance of price and quality — everything is fresh and appetizing. We even come here a bit too often whenever we want a tasty meal without waiting too long. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is fast and friendly.

I visited this buffet, and the experience was truly amazing. The lobsters, crabs, shrimp, fish, and many other dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious. The sushi rolls were also excellent — very fresh, tender, and high quality. There’s a huge variety of ice cream, desserts, and drinks. It’s a great place to come with family, kids, or a large group. Keep in mind, they don’t serve alcohol, but the food selection is impressive enough on its own. A wonderful place — I’ll definitely be back.

Don’t waste your hard earned money here. The service sucks they literally just serve you your drinks once you sit down and never check on you again for refills, just get a soda machine if you don’t want to be bothered with refills. The sign says 2 hours max to eat I get it, so everybody gets a chance to eat but it wasn’t even busy, but a server came an 1 and 10 minutes in and told us your “time is up” and they have the audacity to also charge a 10% mandatory service charge for crappy service. Please folks avoid this place at all costs.

A good friend of mine recommended this place, so my spouse and I decided to give it a try and went there for lunch on Monday. Right from the start, the front desk area felt welcoming, and the ladies behind the counter were very friendly. Within minutes, a hostess showed us to our table.
The restaurant is huge, and thankfully it wasn’t very busy—which we appreciated, since we generally don’t enjoy overcrowded places. Everything was very clean, and shortly after we sat down, someone came by to ask what we’d like to drink. We received our cutlery, and then headed out to explore the buffet.
My spouse chose sushi, pickled vegetables, and several kinds of dumplings. I went with BBQ chicken, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, chow mein noodles, and a few roasted potatoes.
According to my spouse, the sushi was “okay-ish”, nothing special, and unfortunately, the person working behind the sushi counter was a bit rude when he tried to ask a question. The rest of his food, however, was quite good. As for me, I enjoyed everything except the BBQ chicken. The roasted potatoes were actually very delicious.
On his second round, my spouse tried kimchi and freshly made bulgogi. Sadly, both were a big disappointment. He found them inedible—the bulgogi meat was extremely rubbery, almost like leather.
I decided to slow down a bit and try some more “Western-style” items. I took a slice of pizza and a few fried chicken wings. The chicken wings were quite good, but the pizza was awful. Honestly, it tasted like a frozen pizza, and after two bites, I couldn’t eat any more.
Of course, I still had to try the desserts. I took two of the small square containers filled with some kind of cream, three small square tartlets, and three scoops of ice cream in different flavors.
Now, I know taste is subjective, but I can only strongly recommend staying away from the so-called pastries. They were truly disgusting and likely the unhealthiest items on the buffet. The cream desserts in the small clear containers tasted like greasy fat with a hint of artificial fruit flavor—just gross.
They also had large, beautiful-looking strawberries that you could dip into a dark chocolate fountain. Unfortunately, the strawberries were very hard and completely lacking sweetness, while the chocolate was extremely bitter. Combined, it was anything but enjoyable.
The tartlets were dry cake with the same unpleasant cream in between. One even had a rubbery orange topping that felt almost like glue and discolored my tongue so badly that it took quite a while to get rid of both the color and the taste.
The ice cream was mediocre at best.
That said, while we were eating, the service on the floor was excellent. Staff came by frequently to check if we needed anything, and whenever we did, it was taken care of within minutes. There was a small discrepancy on our bill, but it was handled quickly and professionally. Mistakes happen, which is why it’s always a good idea to check your bill before paying.
When we left, we had a few questions for the young lady at the front desk, and she was more than happy to answer them. She was especially kind and helpful.
Overall, we will come back. Most of the food was quite good, and it is a buffet after all. Everyone has different tastes and expectations—so I’d say give it a try and see for yourself.

I think I’ve finally found my go-to spot for satisfying all-you-can-eat seafood cravings! The seafood is always fresh, and they’re great about putting out new batches even before the trays run out. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and variety they offer, and the ambiance is comfortable and inviting — perfect for a casual meal with family or friends.

In addition to the amazing seafood, they have sushi and a made-to-order noodle bar, so you can customize your meal exactly how you like it. One of my favorite features is the “make your own boba” station — it’s such a fun bonus!

My sister from another mother… wanted too surprise me for my birthday… so it’s my first time here and went I tell you the seafood is on … it’s on… they have something for everyone… very fresh and tasty… three different types of crab legs, loster, crayfish, shrimp of all types & sizes etc… if you’re in the area pull up… they will not disappoint… just a quick update we’re back again… the food is fresh as ever… ONE THING I HAVE TOO SAY… IF YOU’RE A SEAFOOD LOVER … THIS IS YOU’RE PLACE… Happy Tuesday

They sat us right away. I had to go ask for a refill at the workstation because the employees would pass by but didn’t bring any refills. The food looks really good! The ribs are good they were warm. The rest of the food was cold. The garlic bread maybe 10 pieces all hard. The stir fry is okay. At the end an employee got me some soft fresh bread.
