Went there on a Friday. The website indicates and hostess told us there is a $45 hour minimum per person on Fridays. They do not tell you that there is a 20% service charge added to the bill. This is neither on the website, nor mentioned by the hostess or the server, but instead is listed on the bill at the very bottom in small print. Our server was pleasant and incredibly slow. He struggled at times and was helped by his co-workers. Appetizers were good, main courses were mediocre. I did like the key lime pie. They had local craft beers on tap which I thought was nice. Go there for the view of the race track. If you go for the food and service you will be greatly disappointed.

bet on the horses and have great food. The charcuterie board was so good and Ahí poke bowl was to die for.. The ahi melted in your mouth. Yum. A personal thank you goes out to Antonio who was so attentive and kind. A special thank you to Steve for his patience and understanding for someone who didn’t know anything about placing a bet. The best place at Gulfstream! We love coming to sit in the shade and while away the time while watching the horses. Good menu with surprisingly huge and delish sushi boats. It’s usually pretty empty but does turn into a zoo on the inside from the people getting the weekend brunch buffet. Outside with wait service is much better! They’ll also bring an ashtray for smokers. Great views. You really can’t beat it here

My wife and I attended the races at Gulfstream Park last weekend and reserved a table at Ten Palms. It was a very nice experience (and that was refreshing considering last year we did Del Mar which in my opinion was far inferior to watching the races at Gulfstream Park). Our server was very attentive to us and the brunch had a nice variety of food. Ten Palms is a great way to watch the races as you get a great view from your table.
The only thing that was unfortunate was the fact that they charge a 20% service charge to any patrons ordering food. Our server actually would have gotten a slightly larger tip as I usually give 20% on the total bill including the tax. The reason I say it is unfortunate is because management is doing a disservice to their workers. The new tax law giving servers the benefit of no income tax on tips up to $25,000 does not include service fees. In other words, if they just let me tip the usual way, they wouldn’t pay any taxes but instead have to pay them on this mandatory fee. I hope someone in management reads this and makes a change for next year. It’s really not fair to their staff.

Not worth the price. Someone should show the cooks how to make buffet style food edible. It looked worse and tasted like it looked . Regular drinks and coffee not included in the price. That’s nickeling and diming you. The service was great.

We ate on the 4th of July at their buffet. The food looked good, but the burgers were undercooked and bland. My husband said the brats were terrible but he thought it was because they had sat there for a few hours. He ended up with food poisoning later in the evening. It was the only place we ate all day since the buffet was all day. The only thing he ate differently than myself was the salmon and brat. Won’t be eating there again.

Had a 3:30 reservation for Thanksgiving dinner with NY family of 6. At 3.15 I received a call from the restaurant telling me they are closing at 4 now and I only had 30 minutes to eat and then security would have to ask us to leave.. My daughter drove 45 minutes to eat dinner with us and we couldn’t even eat.. I walked around and saw hardly any food left and they cleaning staff already cleaning up all the garbage.. I will never go back to this unprofessional establishment..
I am sure it will be closed down soon like the rest of Gulfstream. Terrible Management and a poor excuse for a fine restaurant.. Do not eat here ..

Wow sitting on the second level. All glass . Wow great view. They take your bets at the table. Steve the man that takes your bets, very helpful. Explained when showing place .They pay you off at table too . I order the Ten Palm Salad. . Only ate half , huge. Then the lobster roll. A little lite on lobster. Roll kinda maybe stale. But good.
