My daughter and I came in around 7 or 8pm on a Sunday night. We walked in and there was quite a line which was fine. The staff seemed pretty stressed out but they were working hard to ensure quality, quick service. We ordered 2 shakes and they came out surprisingly fast considering how busy they were. The shakes tasted great and I really commend the staff working that night on how diligent they were. A satisfying place for dessert indeed 🙂

This place was really busy. They have plenty of seating inside and out. The parking lot, however, is another story. Must a contractor’s hang out, truck hauling tree grinder blocking a majority of the few parking spaces.

Terrible Dairy Queen. Terrible customer service. Could not tell me what was in their blizzards. When I got to the window didn’t even greet me. As a prior Dairy Queen employee at a different location the presentation of their products is horrendous.

Right off 96 and Hodgson this DQ is conveniently located for a quick stop or hangout from Shoreview Schools or Community Center. I love to order ahead on the app, looking at the best weekly deals that can save me up to $2-6. Free Mini Blizzard with any app order, $1 cone, BOGO Blizzard or Free Kids Meal with 6pcCSB are consistently good deals when they come up. Cash tips only. 4 on Food and Atmosphere since sometimes the busy drive through creates a rush. They do a good job keeping your order warm/cold if you mobile order. Looking forward to more treats!

Update: I grew up going to this DQ and the quality of the blizzards has consistently declined. Service was nice though. I asked for my blizzard to be mixed well because I know from prior experience that my preferred blizzard gets clumps. Well today despite my request, it was not mixed well. I would say a good 1/4 of my mix ins were clumped at the bottom (see picture). And here I thought they hadn’t put in my mix ins but nope, they failed to mix well.
Service can be hit or miss. The day we came in the employee helping us was really crabby. I made a joke that he didn’t flip the Blizzard so I should get it free and he gave me a rude, snarky response. In all the years coming to this location no one here had ever been that rude. I ended up telling him off because I was trying to be nice as he seemed to be overwhelmed with the crowd.

I recently visited Dairy Queen and had an amazing experience! The service was outstanding, and everything was handled quickly and with a smile. Todd, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure my order was perfect. His friendly attitude and attention to detail really stood out. It’s rare to find such great customer service these days, and Todd made the visit a real pleasure. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this Dairy Queen location!

I just sat in line for 25 mins and I guarantee my banana splits were made at least 15 mins before I pulled up to the window. Once at the window I saw the girl add fresh ice cream to top off the melted ice cream. They handed me soup with a little ice cream on top. I handed them back and told she to make them again. At least 3 young lady’s inside had to talk about it. We have been coming here for 15 years probably won’t return anytime soon.
