I ordered the chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit and it was outstanding. The biscuit is soft, fluffy, buttery, and the chicken is tender with the egg and cheese layered perfectly. Their hash browns are cooked just right — crispy instead of soggy, which is a big deal for me.
The star for a lot of regulars is their cheese grits, and now I understand why. I’m not usually a grits person, but these were creamy, cheesy, and honestly some of the best I’ve had anywhere.
Service was excellent. Michael took care of my order and made the whole experience even better. He was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and excited for me to try them for the first time. It’s always great when someone behind the counter actually cares.
There’s plenty of parking, it’s spacious inside, and they serve both breakfast and lunch all day. Overall, a fantastic spot and absolutely worth visiting. I’ll be back to try more of their menu.
The grits definitely did not taste homemade — they lacked seasoning and had the texture and flavor of instant grits. The biscuit itself was very dense and bland. We ordered two chicken biscuits assuming the chicken would be fresh and house-made, but they appeared to be frozen chicken patties.
We also ordered a ham biscuit, which was extremely salty and tough. The biscuit lacked integrity and did not taste like a hand-made or freshly baked biscuit at all. Overall, the food was not what we were expecting, especially given the positive reviews we had read beforehand.
To add to that, the food wasn’t fully hot when we picked it up, which made it feel like items may have been pre-made and sitting before being packed. For the price, the quality and freshness just didn’t match expectations.
Speed was decent, but food quality fell short.
The whole event was a hit from start to finish. They worked with us on a budget that fit our needs but also fit theirs. They double checked we were ordering the proper amount of food and packaged it to fit our event location. Even giving us suggestions. When we were done they emailed me a typed up chart of items and cost. Lots of work just to plan it out correctly.
On the day of they drove over the food and helped me to set it up too. All burgers and hot dogs were individually wrapped for convenience but also so they would stay warm! It was so thoughtful and involved a lot of work. We were so impressed. People couldn’t stop talking about how great it tasted too.
Forever grateful for all their hard work that paid off with a memorable event. We can’t wait to work with them again in 2026.
The biscuits themselves were dry, bland, crumbly, and very dense. Nothing about them tasted fresh or homemade. Any true Southerner knows grits should never be instant, but these clearly were — straight from a packet, with a plaster-like consistency and zero flavor.
The bacon was flimsy, greasy, and soggy instead of crisp. Overall, the food felt mass-produced rather than scratch-made, which was surprising given the reputation. Unfortunately, not worth a return visit for me.
My 5 stars before now dropped to 2 stars.
2024 Ate breakfast on Sunday morning before 10am. It was not too busy. Food was great as always. I always get tye cheesy grits and add chopped bacon on top. The add for bacon is expensive as they charge you for a whole side of bacon. We also got a side of hashbrowns which are patties and a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit. All were delicious.
On the plus side, the biscuit was decent—fresh enough and probably the best part of the meal. Service was fine, friendly enough, and the atmosphere had the casual diner feel.
Still, for the price of almost $6.00, I expected fresh preparation. Too much of the food looked and tasted reheated and mass-produced. Overall, a letdown compared to what was seen online.
