Hard to give my opinion since I didn’t get to make any purchase. I saw a sign at the Cuckoo Clock that the place had Chicago style dogs, so I wanted to stop and get one. As I approached the building, I was unsure if it had an inside or just outside and what window you needed to order from. The girl told me that they only had ice cream available. On a Saturday which should be the busy time. I took my losses and left. The place is cute with the caboose and truck. The name is cute as well.

We stayed in Sugarcreek on a Sunday evening and arrived just after almost everything had closed. But then we passed The Loose Caboose Depot on our way to the Sugar Creek Village Inn. It was late, but the staff were super-friendly and our ice cream was a nice finish to our day!

The cashier was friendly and nice. The food was great. We got a cheeseburger, hot dog, and chili cheese fries.
The cheese fries were not my favorite because the fries were soggy by the time it got to us. However, my husband liked the flavor.
The butterfinger locomotive (flurry) was my favorite. I’m glad we bailed on the restaurant next to it (Bag), who were annoying.

We stopped by to get ice cream while we were in town for a family reunion. Hand dipped, delicious flavors and the Buckeye was a favorite! Friendly service and cute local spot!

Couldn’t wait to get some dogs. Went there at 6:15 and they told me they were done serving dogs for the night. Really pissed me off. The sign says open until 7. Very disappointing!

We had the chili dog, double burger, hand cut fries…all hot, fresh and reasonably priced. The cole slaw is awesome. Serving sizes are huge. And the servers were awesome. This spot is a gidden gem in Sugar Creek.
