Paolo’s has long been part of the Clarkston community. Originally opened in the late 1980s, the family-run restaurant quickly became a local favourite, known for authentic Italian food and warm hospitality. When it closed in the mid-90s, it left a lasting impression on those who loved it. Today, Paolo’s has returned — proudly family-led and reimagined for modern dining, while staying true to its roots. Three members of the original Paolo’s family have teamed up with restaurant owner Steph to bring the restaurant back to life. Now an award-winning Italian restaurant, we serve classic Italian dishes made with quality ingredients, alongside handcrafted cocktails and a carefully curated wine list. Went on a mid week early evening. No booking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wine was chilled, wet and very pleasant. Two courses were very tasty, piping hot and came without too much of a wait. Enjoyed the experience.

Top quality food and service. Can’t fault it. We booked a table for six people on a very busy Friday evening. Great menu, good sized portions of great tasting food. Would recommend the calamari, mussels, pizza, beef shin and tiramisu. We will definitely return.

Paolo’s did the catering for our lunch party today at home. Everyone enjoyed a selection of delicious main course dishes and tiramisù to finish. Many thanks to Steph and the chefs. I would also recommend the restaurant for a lovely meal. Service is excellent.

Paolo’s Clarkston I can’t praise this restaurant enough, everything is just superb, food service, atmosphere , we are fortunate in the southside to have a great choice of restaurants however this place is a bit special, if you haven’t been just go ,it’s great value too.
