Lamb/beef gyro is phenomenal! Quality ingredients, generous portion, very tasty! Best for pickup/delivery but has plenty of seats if you need to eat inside.

Just a couple of dudes cooking up some fine gyros sandwiches – that’s probably the best way to describe the place.
Pro tip…ask them to cut the gyros meat thin before they crisp it on the grill. Yes, this is one of those places that crisps their gyro meat and that alone elevates them above the 3-star level in my book.
My order may seem odd to those from STL but makes perfect sense to Chicagoans – gyros, meat sliced thin, tzatziki, onions, feta…that’s it. I honestly don’t understand lettuce and tomato on a gyros. I also don’t understand flat pizza but both are topics for another day.
Here are my thoughts on the sandwich: mighty fine!
The meat had that certain crispiness that added a dimension of flavor you miss without it. Gyros itself was very flavorful, tzatziki was serviceable but not spectacular, onions were fresh and cut a bit smaller than I generally prefer, feta was soft and slightly melted from the heat of the meat and the pita spent just a little less time than I like it to spend on the grill.
Add it up and this was possibly the very best gyros I’ve had in STL!

Came in to get gyros while we were waiting at the Emergency Vet just up the way, and holy cow, this place was such a treat! I ordered the Chicken Tandoori gyro for myself and the Lamb Beef gyro for my wife (we took turns eating in the Vet parking lot). I have never had a chicken tandoori gyro, let alone a chicken shawarma that tasted as good as this one did. Sorry no pictures (ate it too fast it was so good ) but from being made start to finish, the meat looked so good, perfect char on the ends, great marinades, good tzatziki sauce, and the veggies they put on were fresh and crisp. The young lady working the counter was very nice, and the crew of gentleman working the grills were great, and did a great job of cooking. Will definitely be back when up this way, hopefully not for or during a vet visit though.

A Must-Visit for Gyro Lovers!
I absolutely love this spot! Their gyros are consistently amazing—perfectly seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of tzatziki. What truly sets them apart, though, are their incredibly reasonable prices and the genuinely kind and attentive staff. It’s always a pleasure to dine here.

Our beef/lamb gyros were very good. They were very generous with the meat. The service was very slow but the gentleman apologized for the inconvenience.
You get to pick which vegetables to put on your gyro. They were very generous with the portions. We also had the fries and they were very tasty and really warm. Love them.
The food seemed to be decent price. Will go back again.

Been to both locations (Manchester & Olive) many times and have never been disappointed. Absolutely delicious gyros and bowls. Once tried the chicken tacos but wasn’t impressed with the chicken, it was a bit dry and tough. But the lamb and beef is always flavorful and delicious and I love their excellent variety of toppings!
Eat local STL!

This was AMAZING. I’ve been in St Louis for a month and this is probably the best meal I’ve had here. Great portions at decent prices. The meat was super tasty and tender, and the toppings were all fresh. Falafels were awesome and the baklava which I’ve never tried before was amazing too. Will go back soon.

Went on a slow Sunday night. Was the only one there but had to wait about 5 minutes for them to take my order (see photo – no employees in sight). I think someone was placing a phone order. Anyway, after placing my order, it took quite awhile to get my food. So definitely order ahead if you can.
My wife’s lamb/beef gyro was pretty good. We’re spoiled by Soulard Gyro and this absolutely did not compare. I got the tandoori chicken bowl and it was pretty disappointing. Pretty large portions but the chicken was dry and not very flavorful.
Baklava was good.

Great food, good service. The pictures of the menus in some of the other reviews were old, so I’m including updated pictures. Looks like their prices went up about $2 on most things.

Staying in town due to work, my husband and I decided to try this place, we don’t regret it, it’s by far one of the best gyros we ever had(and we travel a lot for work so it’s really a compliment), we ordered two chicken gyros and beef samosa , everything was well seasoned and very good portions will have them again when in town
