Second time ordering takeout and this place is awesome! Have loved the thai tea, curry puffs, and pad thai most. The food has been piping hot even after transferring it from there to home. I will need to dine in some time because it’s super cute inside too!

BEST THAI FOOD IN POCATELLO!! The taste is PHENOMENAL, the price is AMAZING, the sizes are AWESOME! I used to go to Thai kitchen all the time, but their waitress is very rude to me, the portion is only 1/3-possibly 1/4 the size of Thai Zap, and it’s godawfully expensive!! I got the same thing I always get at Thai kitchen, PLUS I got an appetizer (which I had already eaten a few before I took the picture) and it was STILL cheaper than Thai kitchen!! THANK YOU THAI ZAP for offering food at a great price! THANK YOU for NOT being greedy like other Thai food restaurants in the area! You now have me as a permanent customer for life! I got the cashew nut chicken, the pad Thai(chicken), and the crab rangoons! I still can’t get over the size of the portions! THANK YOU!!

Fantastic! Don’t let the slower dine in crowd deter you they had a nearly constant take out flow of amazing Thai food!
The Crab Rangoon was crispy and flavorful, the Spicy Fried Rice packed a delightful heat, and the Pad Woon Sen offered a satisfying blend of textures. Friendly staff and reasonable prices enhance the experience.

These folks know how to cook! I have never had a bad meal here. Their customer service is fantastic and the food is top tier. Don’t skip this place, best Thai food in town by far.

I brought my mother-in-law to eat Thai food for the first time at this restaurant, along with my husband’s friends who are hard to eat. After we finished eating, everyone said in unison that she chose the restaurant excellently. The cleanliness, taste, and service were impressive. The price was not expensive. We had Chicken State Green curry, Massaman Chicken Thai Noodle, Chicken wing zap, crab rangoon.

Food was certainly good, though it’s disappointing to receive hot food in plastic disposable containers when dining in.
This is one of the reasons I don’t avoid take out when ordering hot soups and food apart from the opportunity to support staff through tip (FYI: tips are added before food is served at Thai Zip).
Thai Kitchen Restaurant did not serve their food in disposable containers when I dined in 6/17/25 and portions were much larger. Just my 2 cents.

We were driving through Pocatello and decided to order Thai Zap for take out. We love spicy food, and after reading other reviews choose level 4 spice. Arrived, the food was ready and still really hot, which was awesome. Ordered chicken Massaman and chicken pad Thai. Don’t know if we ordered wrong or if it’s normally that spicy. We could tell the flavors were so good but it was so spicy we had runny noses and our lips and mouth were burning. Almost to an inedible stage. Definitely going to try it again next time we are that way, but might choose a spice level 2.

This was meh. I ordered the pad Thai. The portion was huge, but it was basically just boiled and fried rice noodles. They weren’t really seasoned very much at all, and there were almost no veggies, meat, or peanuts. If there had been none at all, I would have chalked it up to someone just forgetting part of the recipe for an order—it happens. But since there was *some* it felt like it was intentionally that way, and pad Thai shouldn’t be that way.

Joseph at the order desk is amazing customer oriented and Aunty Mam is an amazing host and chef! They keep it Express style fast but home cooked food style is way more tasty than big name restaurants. Overall 5 star.

Thai Zap is a gem. I’ve lived in Salt Lake City for 2 1/2 years and haven’t found a Thai place that comes close. Anytime we come to Pocatello this place is a must! the egg rolls and the pad Thai are perfection.
