I can say enough good things about the place. I had the full moon roll and the cucumber salad with bean sprouts and tofu. THIS is my new favorite! I have had so many sushi rolls in my life, I even had sushi in Japan. The moon roll was perfect, A++! The cucumber salad was so fresh with a slightly sweetened dressing. My husband had the tempura rice bowl and the seaweed salad with the purple star sake. Wow, everything he had was light and perfectly fresh. The sake is made in-house and is my new favorite warm sake.
The atmosphere and service was phenomenal!

Loved this place! Friend and I came here since we (I) were (was) craving sushi. Did not disappoint! The lady who was serving us was very friendly, patient, and kind, and was very enthusiastic about explaining to us what some things on the menu were.
We ordered the sunset and playboy sushis, plus green tea mochi for dessert. They were all so freaking good. Had no clue I needed mochi so bad.
Environment is very clean and simple, I loved the decorations on the ceiling. Made me feel like I wasn’t in daybreak anymore.

This is for sure a 5 star all around! If you want phenomenal sushi, amazing service, and an esthetic but wholesome atmosphere this is the place! Our waitress was so kind, and gave so many amazing suggestions on what to get, she even asked if anyone at the table had allergies before we placed our orders. There were 4 in our group so we were able to try quite a bit, and everything was quality ingredients. I can’t say enough great things about this place! This will be our new sushi place for sure!

The location is awful.. It’s located in the middle of apartments. I couldn’t find parking because all of the apartment tenants took the street parking. Worse than downtown SLC. Snobby neighborhood. Not the restaurants fault necessarily but it’s a horrible location and vibe.
Food was less than mediocre.
Broth was not made in house, Eggs in ramen aren’t seasoned just literally plain boiled egg, canned corn, mushy mushrooms not charred enough, barely any green onion and sprouts. The chashu was very poor quality and more like a pork chop. Felt like a pantry meal but I paid for it.
Nigiri was okay but very lacking in rice and served upside down? Really the only okay thing was nigiri because fish seemed fresh ish

Our go-to sushi spot in South Jordan and a bonus— it’s so close to home. While its location is relatively residential, its food is authentic, well-prepared, and tasty tasty.
The selection of sushi left us feeling like we have plenty of rolls to go back and try, but a large proportion of the options have tempura shrimp as the main fish. They could branch out a bit but I can’t complain about a good tempura shrimp.
Highly recommend the Honey Girl and Sunshine rolls!
Also tip for management—your water cups are far too small and your waiters are usually too busy to keep them full

Absolutely amazing service and amazing food ! We went there last week and had to go back today again! After only coming there once the staff recognized us and greeted us! Our amazing waiter even recommended some new rolls and nigiri for us based on what we enjoyed last time!
The rolls were some of the freshest tasting fish I’ve had in Utah, would extremely recommend! We have yet to have one that we haven’t enjoyed!
The atmosphere is extremely cozy and has an amazing view of the daybreak “lake”.
I would recommend this place many times over for sushi lovers! This place is now added to one our our regular spots!

Wow! Sukihana is close by where we live and we didn’t know it was there. Honestly the best sushi I have had Utah! I would put it up any day against the place that ends in “nami”! Great taste, super fresh, amazing atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff! My wife (not a sushi eater) had Teriyaki Chicken and she loved it! This is our new favorite restaurant! Highly recommend to anyone wanting Japanese food!!
