By far one of the best hole in the wall restaurants I’ve ever been to! The shrimp was absolutely divine and fresh, and the rice didn’t even need any soy sauce or additives. The chicken chow mein was flavorful with huge chunks of chicken. They also gave us some starter soups and the egg drop soup was delicious! Finally, the green tea was delicious and warm. The service overall was fantastic and it has a very cozy vibe. Highly recommend!

I came here with two friends on a late and not busy Sunday evening. John was our server and he was quite an exceptional and excellent server. Service was fast, efficient and polite. The food was amazing. Heavy-hitters such as the Honey Walnut Shrimp have nothing to envy other places. Even classics such as Mongolian Beef were delicious and had a new twist to themselves. Their cream cheese wontons were otherworldly and exceptional and the Beef Chow Fun (like Pad See Ew, but Chinese, meaning flat noodles with veggies and some type of protein) was a welcome addition to our family-style dinner. Highly-recommended place if you’re in the area. Also, there’s good parking and the lot is easily accessible. The location of the restaurant is in an intersection too, so it’s hard to miss.

Fortune House is an old school gem! I feel like every time I’m there it is emptier than it should be — the food is pretty reasonably priced and is great for groups so you can grab a lot of different things and take advantage of the extensive menu. Grab the ‘pork chop with spicy salt’ — I don’t think the salt is spicy is any way, but the pork chops are fried and are seriously delicious. I also love the salted fish and diced chicken fried rice. You can order delivery or takeout, but I do think you should stop in sometime and experience the friendly service. Really kind people.

We enjoyed half Peking duck, sautéed squid with snow peas, and sizzling rice soup. The dishes were authentic and delicious, and service was excellent. The parking lot was full on a Saturday night but we found a parking space at a nearby residential street.

Had such a satisfying dinner from Fortune House! This place has a good mix of classic Chinese dishes and the typical Americanized Chinese takeout. Everything was very well packaged, and the portions were great for two people. I recommend the Peking duck and braised string beans. Only thing I wouldn’t order again would be the egg rolls – they weren’t very flavorful and not enough filling.

Classic Chinese food atmosphere, red tablecloths, gold chairs. The service was consistent, our water cups were never empty, free soup and crisps appetizers. We orders the spicy salt fish, which was deliciously light and refreshing. The walnut shrimp was a perfect texture! Everything was delicious

Last Thursday evening Christmas Day I hosted my Jewish Chinese Christmas dinner per this newish time-honored tradition. Altogether there were eleven of us including myself sitting around around table. The ages ranged from 17 to 88. Several people were either vegetarian or do not eat anything real treyf. There ended up being a lot of food with very little to take back home. They raved about the food and showed their enjoyment.

New to the area so I decided to explore. Came across this Chinese restaurant. The inside is fairly decent, with authentic Chinese music playing in the background . What I like about it is they serve you green tea on the house in a pot, along with some crisps. I got the pan fried chicken dumplings served with ginger soy sauce, which was pretty good. I opted for the chef recommended orange. Portions are very generous, and the only complaint I have was that the chicken was very chewy. It does however have a subtle smoky flavor, which is delicious!
