The girl at the counter is very nice and welcoming with customer service. The chicken teriyaki box was so good. It reminds me of the west coast teriyaki I used to get there. It has a salty and sweet combo to the flavor that’s not overly salty or sweet – just perfect. My wife loved the honey sriracha chicken. I liked that it wasn’t overly greasy or oily as well. Will definitely be back!

We ate from the food truck. The pork egg rolls were delicious. I thought the Philly was ok. My husband loved it all. My only complaint is that I ordered a strawberry egg roll, and got pumpkin. I wasn’t too pleased with it.

SO GOOD
As a Californian visiting, I was skeptical of a Japanese restaurant attached to a gas station. This food will put Cali Japanese restaurants to shame.
The food was all around amazing. As well, the Burrito was a fun mix. Yum-yum sauce was so good on top of the hibachi box and on the burrito.
Service was STELLAR, Lauren and Becca were super friendly. Also remembered our names on our second visit.

We were excited to try Red Box Hibachi after seeing so many good reviews, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype.
While the staff was friendly and customer service was polite, there were several issues that made our visit disappointing. We brought up the local discount while checking out, but the cashier told us it was too late to apply it since we were already in the process of paying. That was frustrating, especially given the high prices.
We ordered steak hibachi with shrimp added and paid extra for vegetables, expecting a well-balanced meal. Instead, our bowls were mostly rice with very little meat or veggies. For over $40, it didn’t feel like a good value.
We were also charged $2.00 for two small cups of water, and one egg roll cost $3. These small charges added up quickly and made the meal feel overpriced.
On the plus side, the staff wiped down our table right after we left, which shows they care about cleanliness. They also offer dine-in, drive-thru, and online ordering, which is convenient.
Overall, while the customer service was kind and attentive, the food quality and pricing didn’t meet our expectations. We won’t be returning.

I ordered online right before leaving work and they had it ready when I got there. Drove all the way to Dandridge and it was still hot when I got to it after all the little things I had to do as soon as I walked in the door. The honey siracha flavor is amazing and the homemade yum yum made the rice even better. It was a good amount of food for the price as well. I could share with my husband and there be plenty for us both. I didn’t share it though, I’m saving the extra for my lunch tomorrow!

I work 2 jobs and tried ordering from the food truck in Seymour. I have never had an issue with this company before. I have been choosing this restaurant sine they were at stomers in straw plants and Kodak at the 4 way and never had a issue until I visited Seymour food truck while the owner was working. The owner shut the food truck down at about 10 till 8 or close and couldn’t get my food and was charged. He refunded me. I have been in the restaurant business for 31 yrs if it was my business I would have made the customer happy customer and customer service always should come first but it’s okay. The food is always great. After this experience with the owner it will be a while before I come back to service his business.

I wanted to try this place before heading back to Florida from vacation and I’m glad I did so. The Lady was super sweet at the front register taking orders, and the food was delicious with a big portion. Certainly will be coming back. I had the Steak with vegetables and a hamburger egg roll, looking forward to it again on my next trip. The cooks back there are excellent, very flavorful!
