I personally like China Max. You can get a lunch special for less than $11. How can you go wrong? The food is good and has a nice size. Not like that small plastic container in Ny for $17. Good prices here, good food, and nice sized portions. I would definitely tell everyone to come here.

What can I say I love this place. It’s better than going to Panda Express that’s for sure because it has a ton of addictive flavors. They were busy on the last few hours of Christmas Eve and had peoples orders going out just fine. For a small town, they are really good, dependable, and affordable. They are always friendly, quick, and too the point.

Im the kind of person that orders food if its good I write a good review, if its bad I write a bad review. I don’t go back and complain because people try to scam restaurants for free or discounted food all the time so I paid for it and its a one time deal I won’t return. The amount of food for the money is a three out of five but that’s not the issue. I ordered sweet and sour chicken two orders of their combo’s. Both orders the batter was raw and half of the chicken was raw as well so in the garbage can and a never again for me.

Let’s just put it this way; I would have posted pics. But the food is already gone…. Fried chicken and house special rice, general tso chicken with house special rice. All gone already. And if you don’t stop and get those or at least try it. Then I’m sorry for the satisfaction of your food cravings… love this place!

Didn’t know about this place until I came across it by accident. What caught me was their menu said “New York Style” So being a New Yorker, I had to try it.
Now I’ve lived out of NY for over 30 years. I occasionally go back and when I do, I go t9 all my favorites spots for pizza, bagels, Italian food, Puerto Rican foods, and of course Chinese food.
Well my favorite spot is in Brooklyn, Park Slope on 11 street and 5th Ave. I remember almost every Sunday getting some. Knew the owner and also his family. Even when I returned a few yrs ago, the son whom I’ve known since he was born, now runs the place with his father proudly overseeing the store.
When we ordered our food from China Max and got it home to eat. I said let’s see how really NY style they are. I got the Sweet & sour chicken for the hubby. I got the boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice and egg roll for me. Then a seperate general yso chicken combination platter. We also ordered the Egg Drop Soup and some spring rolls.
The main test was going to be the egg drop soup. I’ve lived in many different stated through the years and have yet to find the perfect egg drop soup. We’ll I found it!!! China Max has it! One taste of it and WOW it took me back to 11 st and 5th Ave.
All their food did!!. You won’t be disappointed!! Portions are great. Service is excellent and I definitely will be back for more. They are located in the Publix Shopping Center in Belleview, a few doors down from MetroPCS.

Shrimp fried rice was not fried at all, they literally took boiled rice, mixed peas with it and just added a few boiled shrimp in it! The rice has no flavor to it whatsoever, I was highly disappointed, they also misunderstood when I asked for shrimp egg foo young and gave me chicken egg foo young! Will not be back nor recommend this place!

It’s our go to spot in Marion county, our favorite is china 8 in mount dora. Food is great service is fast. Although I did put 4 stars because china 8 would throw is extra egg rolls if you spent over a certain amount it was awesome! But I would highly recommend the sesame chicken and Teriyaki chicken on a stick my son loves them!

The lady at the counter was extremely rude and made assumptions about me without looking at my receipt or checking my order number. She assumed I was a door dash delivery driver as soon as I walked in. I literally had the receipt pulled up on my phone showing her the order number and full detailed receipt I received after I paid online to pickup my order. Again without looking at my receipt she dismissed me and told me to “complete my order” or she won’t give me my food I already pre paid for. I tried showing her the receipt again and she yelled out, right in front of other customers “complete order or I give you nothing!”. I tried showing her the receipt again and asked her to please check my order number. She finally checked her little tablet screen and realized I was not picking up doordash but for myself. She then proceeds to change the subject and tell me I ordered the wrong way and I would have paid 4 dollars less if I ordered through their website. I didn’t even care about the 4 dollars at that point I just wanted my food and to go about my day. I did not raise my voice nor did I get belligerent. I simply walked out. I get my shrimp and broccoli and there’s literally 4 shrimp in the entire dish smh. I will NEVER support this business again. Acknowledging when you’re wrong and apologizing to a paying customer is what’s lacking now a days.

Small restaurant with not much seating, but their food is amazing. Their spring rolls always have great flavor and their lomein noodles are just right. This is our go to Chinese restaurant The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
