Spicy chicken tenders were almost too spicy to eat. I love hot stuff but wow. All dipping sauces each cost 50 cents extra, meal only came with gravy which is strange to me. The tenders were not real crispy like they had been under a lamp for a while. Employees were very nice and food was ready fast.

My wife and I got a platter to share with a catfish filet, 3 tenders, and 2 sides. She got the corn nuggets, and I had the 3 pc. Jalapeño poppers with a large drink. Hot and tasty, the store was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly.

I went to the 7th street location as it’s closer to my house. I asked for the fish special (which they run filet specials on Friday) and was told there was none. When did that stop? Used to be if you order one filet they would also give you hush puppies. That didn’t happen with this order. The people are wonderful and the fish is the best I’ve had. But I’m disappointed that the meal has changed.

So every time I go in there, you know they always jack something up in my order. It hasn’t really been a big deal until they’ve done it the past three times I’ve went there you know usually I don’t get a drink so I can get an extra side and I’ve missed the extra side the past three times I’ve been there so I didn’t have a sweet tea or my cheddar peppers They gave me two mozzarella sticks and they weren’t big mozzarella sticks The chicken was burnt And don’t expect normal chicken because all the other locations you know the load up the chicken and you know they’re big chickens and they’ll give you more than you ordered this This chicken express you’re lucky to get the amount of chicken tenders that you actually ordered let alone good size ones like My pinky finger is bigger than some of these chicken tenders I’ve got before and the emo kid that has blonde hair is pretty rude. Chicken express is one of my favorite restaurants, but not the one on Richmond. It’s just not it.

Everything was severely over cooked and the fried pickles were so shriveled up/ had zero breading…they tried to charge us for ranch (45 cents a piece) you can not sub your gravy either! I’m sorry but do better!
