I went there cause I was staying at the hotel and I ordered the all you can eat wings for me and my wife, each picking different flavors. We had vouchers from the hotel for $4 off drinks. The wings were very poorly made, clearly not properly marinated but instead last second dipped in a either too runny or not runny enough sauce. The fries were under spiced and undercooked, and they messed up my drink order 3 out of 5 times they refilled me. I felt i wasted my money all you can eat wings cause after my wife finished her plate she was too disgusted to eat anymore. by my 4th, i found undercooked meat inside, and said no more. They proceeded to bring me more wings out after I asked for the check, (different waiter did that) and after taking my vouchers, I get my check back with full charge for drinks. This was of course corrected after what was slowly turning into a loud argument when after me getting ready to storm off to talk to the hotel staff and not pay for my meal until it was resolved, it was resolved immediately.
Fast forward to the next day, where i go to cash in my breakfast voucher. Everything tasted great, staff was friendly and fast, no voucher problems, only complaint was when I got my eggs cooked barely over easy when i ordered hard, simple mistake, quickly fixed.
I think it was not a show of the restaurants quality so much as the night staff’s quality. The only one at night i liked was this very nice girl who’s name I have forgotten. Kaitlyn, Courtney, Katrina, I don’t remember. She was amazing, she got my drinks right and fast, she was kind and very sweet and attentive. Every other staff member there that night ignored me and my wife, messed up our drinks and our orders. But she was the silver lining.
If you want an excellent meal just the way they normally serve it, it’s a good place to go. If you want a burger without lettuce, tomato, onion and etc, then you aren’t going to get it. If you want a steak without the vegetables on the plate, forget it.
The portions are small for the price sometimes, but this varies a LOT. One time, you go in and the Ribeye will be decent sized and the you will get enough fries to feel full. The next time, you have a tiny steak and 8 fries.
They don’t seem to be able to understand that not everyone wants broccoli and carrots and whatever else that nastiness is sitting literally on your steak no matter how nicely you ask that it not be on your plate. They seem put off if you don’t want their mashed potatoes as well.
The homemade burger patties are fantastic, but you absolutely can not get that burger without the veggies, no matter how many times they tell you they will do it. I’m not a fan of the buns either, but they aren’t horrible. It’s just a shame that such a great patty can’t be had without the junk I don’t want. The cheese is very good as well.
If you finish your drink fast, you can usually expect to wait a while, even if they aren’t busy, before getting a refill.
If you like popcorn, you’ll love it; free… as much as you want, lol. Just don’t expect to have enough drink to enjoy it.
For the price they charge, I expect a bit more service and to actually get it the way I ordered, but it is one of the few places in Rock Springs to get a decent steak or burger.
