The cheeseburger empanada was fantastic! Warm deliciousness in the center with a crispy and flaky outside.
The bangin’ tenders are a definite bang for your buck! The 4 tenders were huge and moist on the inside. The bang bang sauce was a definite hit! The fries were perfectly crispy and dipped well in a side of honey boo thang sauce (honey mustard).
This will be added to places to return to when back in Tampa!

Great customer service. Hands down the best empanadas! My favorite is the Mother Clucker. Everything I’ve tried has been incredibly flavorful and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the care put into the food. Highly recommend!

I visited Empamamas for lunch this past Tuesday. Ally provided great service and was very helpful with the menu. I purchased the empanada 4 pack getting one of each. All of them were amazing but the Mother Clucker was the best. The empanadas may seem small but they are rich and filling.

Hands down the BEST empanadas EVER! My husband and I tried the top empanadas on the menu—the Cheeseburger and the Tampa Girl—and they were completely jaw-dropping and mouth-watering. Every bite was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked.
And let’s talk about the Hunny Boo Thang sauce… WOW. It was absolutely fantastic—the perfect kick that takes the empanadas to a whole new level.

Stopped in and got a variety of items. We did a 4pack of the empanadas and they were very good. The tacos were also good. Nice spot in a food hall area with so many choices. When in the area would definitely go back.

I’ve been a customer since 2016/2017. I found their food truck at the Tampa bay Cuban sandwich festival and it has never disappointed. I love the Tampa girl empanadas so much! So tasty! They are the only restaurant I go to at armature works!

I had empanadas years ago from a friend. Then 8/13 came, and I came back for the special! The empanadas became all I could think about! So I had to come back and try all four flavors! I ate the Fresh Prince and Tampa Girl, and both were delicious. However, someone ate my other two flavors, so sad. Only downside is I hate that I can’t get my parking comped when I buy food at Armature Works.

Can’t talk this place up enough! We’re from Miami and every time we come to Tampa we have to stop in and grab a Tampa Girl, even took some to go for our trip back. The empanadas are packed with filling and flavor like nothing we’ve experienced before. Definitely worth the price. Shout out to Jen and Ali for their wonderful service and passion for great tasting food.
