This was a Reddit find. The chatter has been good and increasingly becoming more frequent. Party of four in an adorable little dinning room. You walk into a traditional strip mall slice joint, then (if you have a reservation) they usher you into the side dinning room. We ordered, large buffalo chicken, large meat pizza and a personal margarita with prosciutto. The sizes are exceptional. The heartiness, fantastic. The crust, great integrity to fold with a crisp and carry all the toppings. The sauce is clearly a fresh tomato with no added frills. Served hot but a single waitress/bar-keep. She would definitely be too busy alone if the dinning room filled up but was attentive. Back to the food, the flavors were all there. But if red sauce with buff and added a hint of sweetness to a perfectly spicy buffalo chicken that was juicy chicken held in place with just enough cheese. I tasted every meat, pepperoni, sausage, meatball and bacon on the meat pie. Toppings were not skimpy. I can’t wait to go back to try more. This is keeper. Photos are a couple of slices in but you can see the heartiness.

1st time going here. We walk in the take out side, cause that’s the only way to the dine in side. We were met with a girl behind the counter who said we have to wait there to c if we could go in the restaurant side. She was kinda of snobby about it. It’s dark and hard to read the menu. Service was slow. It took over an hour to get a pizza to the table. The waitress said they only have 1 guy that does pizza for restaurant and take out. We got our pizza and it was so thin, that u couldn’t even fold it til u got towards the crust. It did have decent flavor but not worth the 1hr+ to get it. Won’t be a place ill revisit.

rare 5 star review. there’s 2 entrances; one for slices and pickup and a nice dark dining and bar area. very friendly staff for lunch. casual vibe but upscale interior. dedicated lunch or regular menu. classy decor. comparable prices to other restaurants. pizza was excellent and salad may have been even better. pizza was 14inch personal cheese. high expectations and high quality results. shoutout the decent bar seated crowd for 1pm.

I agree with the sentiment of a lot of the reviews. The food is excellent. I love the pizza, the wings are great and the arancini is amazing, however the service hasn’t been the same since the pandemic. I used to go there once a week, but now you have to place your order 5 to 8 hours in advance which is why I don’t go there anymore. Instead of fixing the problem, I get the vibe that they don’t want my business anymore so I take it elsewhere.

When you move from the city, it can be hard to find similar foods to what you’re used to…well, I’m SO glad I decided to order some pizza to take home when I got my nails done across the street because YES!!! I had to wait a while which threw me off as I don’t live too close but had placed the order a day in advance but it was SO well worth the wait!!!! It’s greasy, it folds, and it’s exactly what pizza should be.

This is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful owners! They use fresh ingredients and you can really taste the difference. It’s a great place for both dining in (really nice dining area) and pick up!

I really recommend trying their pizza!

I never leave reviews. I’m originally from the downstate NYC area and very picky when it comes to pizza. I discovered Marisa’s earlier this year and really enjoyed it — the pizza, especially Marisa’s Pie, is the best I’ve found in the area. I thought I finally found a solid slice around here.

That said, it’s nearly impossible to actually get an order. I’ve only managed to get pizza twice. Even when I call early in the day, it’s the same story: I’ll call around 12 hoping for a 4–5 pm pickup, but the only slot available is 8 pm. I’ve tried almost every weekend and run into the same issue.

The pizza is the best around, but unfortunately the hassle makes it not worth it.

This pizza is Amazing. If you like a NY style thin crust pie, it really is very, very good. The enterence and outside will definitely deceive you for what you have in store inside the dining room.

The dining room & bar area is very quaint and has an very cozy feel. It doesn’t feel like a plaza pizzaria, it’s really comfortable, they did a fantastic job on the design.

The meals going by our table looked amazing, but I went for the pizza.

Awesome Italian food coming out of a small place in hidden shopping plaza. Actually way out of my way, but am making plans to go back asap.

This place’s pizza is just ok. Overpriced if you ask me..the staff has always been rude. They act annoyed when you come in to pick up your order. The woman who cashed me out wouldn’t even hand me my change back and I was standing right there. She set it on the side of the register and acted annoyed. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve always got that vibe from their employees. They let the review by Dave portnoy go to their heads, they’re not that great. Try piesans on western, they’re much friendlier there and their pizza is better IMO with better prices

Here we go again, trying a new pizza restaurant while traveling in New York state.
They do have a nice menu with a variety of appetizers and mains, not just pizza. But the majority of patrons had pizza. They have preset and build your own with a large number of available toppings. We just had a build your own with mushrooms and pepperoni.
The crust was excellent. Cooked to perfection, and it had a great undercarriage that held up perfectly. The sauce was super tomato tasting but a bit bland for this reviewer. When I added chili, oregano, and extra parmesan cheese, it helped a bit. There was an ample amount of pepperoni and mushrooms, but the pepperoni was also a bit bland.
The atmosphere was nicer than expected. The service, considering there was only one waitress, was very slow but courteous. Apparently, it takes an hour to make a pizza. What? That’s crazy. I guess they want you to order an appetizer to fill the space.
All in all, it was ok. Unless you are in the area and need to eat, don’t make a special trip.
