We hosted my grandparents 65th wedding anniversary here before opening hours for 42 guests and it honestly could not have gone better.
From the very beginning, Sophie was so easy to work with: organized, responsive and genuinely flexible in helping us make our budget work. Planning something this special (and for that many people!) can feel overwhelming but she made the entire process feel smooth and stress free.
The day itself was beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious – every course was so well done and the atmosphere was intimate, romantic and chic while still feeling warm and welcoming. It struck that perfect balance of classy while still feeling relaxed and welcoming.
The service was seamless and thoughtful and our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. It meant so much to our family to celebrate such an incredible milestone in a space that felt so special.
Truly grateful for the experience and would not hesitate to host something here again.

Me and my friend are visiting ottawa and I wanted to take her out to a nicer restaurant in ottawa. Unfortunately the food was so bland and the service so poor it ruined our night!
I got the Gnocci and im very convinced its a small portion of a Costco bag of gnocchi mixed with canned tomato sauce heated in a pot, no seasoning, not even salt and pepper. Not only was the taste, quality and portion poor but it was also 26$.
My friend activity works in the food industry and is deeply disappointed that for 26$ they are not making there gnocchi in house.
My friend got the spicy Calabrazi(spelling?) Sausage pizza and she could barely eat half of it. The crust was bland and tasteless and not even slightly browned on the bottom, like it was microwaved. The Sausage was scarcely put on the pizza in large chunks and the tomato sauce and cheese was so tasteless I couldn’t tell if it was there.
The service was very poor, with people who came in after us receiving service and food as we were ordering, not something I usually pay attention to but we came in and were seated when there was only 1 other table of people.
All in all the food was terrible and the service poor. The ratings for this restaurant are inaccurate, if you read them you would not eat here. People are saying only bad things and then rating 3 or 4 stars unfortunately.

I’ve been eating here for 25 years, and the food is still exceptional. Always friendly service, and a better atmosphere than the location might suggest.
The chef / owner cares about the food he produces and the customers of mostly Bells Corners and Nepean.
I have eaten at every high end restaurant in Ottawa – and Cyrano is still my go to for a great reasonable priced meal and an affordable wine list. A hidden gem.

Came for dinner and it seemed kind of busy. Granted I came a little earlier than my reservation and we were still seated (I requested a booth in the reservation but was seated elsewhere, no biggie though it would have been nice if their online system shows comments).
Servers were friendly but seemed overworked, the second waitress forgot the breadbasket entirely until the main meal came in. They were moving around the room quite a bit so maybe hire another waitress?
The food was alright, I liked the pasta special with shrimp but it should come with a nut warning, as the sauce contains walnuts but is was not mentioned (I could also be blind and maybe missed it on the board though I didn’t see it). The pear and Brie pizza was great, I really liked the creamy and crunchy texture.
The Mediterranean? tandoori chicken was … not great. The chicken part was okay, it was not dry but the side dish couldn’t be more bland. It’s like even salt seasoning was forgotten for the rice and chick peas.
The desert was okay, the crème brûlée seemed a little burnt as the top was kind of bitter and anything warmed is really closer to hot so you may want to wait a minute before hungrily biting into it.
Pleasant enough experience overall but not something grand or a place to celebrate at, in my opinion.

Atmosphere was nice and service was quick! The food was well seasoned and reasonably portioned. Would definitely go back for special occasions.

Very impressed. This is a great dining experience in a seemingly unexpected area. This simple strip mall restaurant is gorgeous on the inside with a rear open kitchen and a side bar. The food was beautiful. Decent sized portions. Very fresh pasta made in house. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The open kitchen was efficient and quiet. Service was lovely.

A couple of friends and I had dinner at Cyranos recently. It was my first visit and I enjoyed it. The restaurant has a cozy feel to it, the service was pleasant and efficient, and the food was delicious! I look forward to dining there again before too long. 🙂

I was visiting from out of town and Cyrano’s was recommended. The food and service is absolutely outstanding! Everything we had (shrimp cocktail, crab cakes and 3 cheese manicott1) was so delicious, we had to go back a second night in a row so we could try more of the menu. Melanie is a terrific and attentive server, you’ll be lucky to be seated in her section. Can’t wait to go back the next time I visit Ottawa.

Nice place and good food. The layout, the furniture and the decor are a bit old and outdated. It’s probably time to do some renovation!. The service is nice, very friendly staff.
Food: tasty complimentary freshly baked bread. Good portion size. We tried different dishes and desserts: the main course food and the desserts tasted average.
Yet, I would give it another try and update this review accordingly.

Food was incredible. Each person, in our party of four, had delicious meals. But what really made the experience amazing was our server, Victoria. She has a wonderful sense of humour, answered all of our questions, was very adept at explaining every dish and was just a joy to speak to. Attentive service with a smile. Who could ask for anything more? Going to request she be our server going forward! Being a server is not an easy job but Victoria really made it a perfect dining experience.
