The vibe here is super chill and relaxed, perfectly matching the restaurant’s style. Service is fast and the staff are really attentive. I recommend making a reservation if you’re coming on busy days. The food is fresh and absolutely worth recommending. I ordered the Fire Cracker and the Spider Roll, both were delicious but the Fire Cracker definitely stole the show. Something I really loved was the menu — it has photos for every dish and I’m such a visual person, so that made ordering even better.

The food was absolutely delicious . But the service was good until the point where it was time to tip. I went On a date ( First time with the guy ) and he paid for it. My partner paid with his card and left no tip. He repeated four times there’s no tip included and we had to tell him like hey we hear you can you be patience. There was no patience when it came to the tipping part. I felt like I was being harassed over a tip

I have been going to this restaurant for more than seven years and there has never been a time where I have had a pleasant interaction with the servers. Not only do they put minimum effort into acknowledging you as a customer let alone a repeat customer of years, but they go as far as chasing you after you paid because you didn’t leave a 20% tip. I have walked without leaving a tip even because they do not provide you with the things that you need, are extremely rude and yet they charge you for everything including refill of club soda and sauces and then they have the nerve to question you when you leave a tip that’s anything less than 18%. I was chased by two servers demanding to be left a greater tip because most people leave at least an 18% tip. However, my service was terrible and after ordering a drink that I couldn’t finish and asking for a to go cup, the server put the drink in the cup and threw the cup on the counter, while I had my hand extended to receive it because I didn’t leave her a bigger tip. The food might be good, but going there is knowing that you’re going to have to fight for your right to not have to leave an absurd amount of tip For a service that is simply unpleasant. Gratuity is not an obligation unless you walk into this restaurant, where they feel entitled.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant located just behind the Aventura Town Center for years, but only now have I had the chance to write a review. As always, all the food was delicious. They serve Japanese and Thai cuisine here. In addition to a wide selection of sushi, sashimi, and rolls, the menu also offers a variety of other dishes.
For appetizers, I ordered Tuna Tataki and Soft Shell Crab, and for the main course, I ordered Crispy Duck. It was my first time trying Soft Shell Crab, and although its appearance wasn’t very appealing due to its soft shell, it was very tasty. The Tuna Tataki was also delicious, especially with the accompanying ponzu sauce. The Duck portion was quite large, served with steamed rice. It also comes with a side dish containing ginger, garlic, or other ingredients. It was quite filling and the duck was nicely roasted.
My spouse ordered Shrimp Parpadella with Broccoli. It had plenty of shrimp in it and was tasty. Our daughter-in-law ordered Dynamite Roll and Pad Thai Shrimp, which were also very tasty.
In conclusion, the food here is really filling, the portions are generous, and it’s delicious. The service is quite good and while it’s not very fast, it’s manageable. We went at an earlier time, around 6:30 pm, and the restaurant was empty, but after 8 pm, the restaurant was completely full and there were no empty seats. If you’re going, I recommend going before 7 pm, and if you’re going on a Sunday, before 6 pm.
The atmosphere of the restaurant has been the same and old for years, but it suits this food concept. Given all the taste and generous portions, the prices are quite reasonable and cheap. Although not many tables, there is also the possibility to sit outside. They also offer the possibility to order online and pick up. Parking is not a problem at all, it’s very easy to find a spot in the free parking lots in front of the restaurant.
If you’re craving Asian food; want tasty, plentiful, varied, and cheap food, but the ambiance, decoration, and view are not that important, I would definitely recommend this place.

Found this place while searching for a Japanese/Thai restaurant in the area, the restaurant looks kind of outdated, the food was good, the best for me was the vegetable fried rice, lots of flavor and crispy veggies, the yakisoba was just ok, not a lot of flavor and the shrimp was overcooked, hard , dry and lacking flavor. Server was friendly but did not come ti the table unless called. Mixed outcome, try it if you want.

Always a little apprehensive about these sushi Thai places, but this was such a nice surprise. We ordered mostly Thai food, and it was excellent. The flavors were just right. Sushi menu is extensive, and looks good as well.
