Guess the best $11 i paid for 4 thick and fatty slices of salmon.
Overall rated it 4 instead of 5 because of the Ramen. It was served in a huge bowl and while the taste is okay, the egg could have been soft boiled and sliced in half rather than poached and submerged whole into the soup. The pork chashu is a little “toasted”, would have been better if it was softer or tender.
Harumaki was good because of the sauce they provided with it however the clear broth vegetarian ramen was unimaginably bad, no salt, no taste, veggies were not cooked, overall bad experience.
Above all the value that they offer is the best in Hoboken. Nothing else comes close on a student budget.
I’ll attach the pictures to my review!
The quality of the sushi is truly impeccable, with fresh ingredients. Their Toro, in particular, was delicate and tender, with a rich texture. The rice had the perfect balance, enhancing the fish without overpowering its flavor. Additionally, the presentation of the nigiri was exquisite, and you could really sense the chef’s care and craftsmanship in every bite. I highly recommend trying their sashimi platter; it’s generously portioned, with thick, fresh slices of fish.
As for the price, although it’s not particularly cheap, it’s well worth it for the high quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. Whether you’re a die-hard sushi lover or a first-time customer, this sushi restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It’s the kind of place that will keep you coming back.
The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the catering menu offers a great selection of sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese favorites.
The service is top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend Sushi House for your next catering event!
