Top BBQ spot I’ve been to in Boston, and easily *the* top when accounting for price. I got a huge platter of pulled pork with corn bread, potato salad, and collard greens for $19 (before tax).
The pulled pork is a huge serving of — I think — Eastern North Carolina style BBQ (pulled pork in a lightly vinegary sauce). Not the “traditional” style of pulled pork (made with a sweet BBQ sauce), but (1) I love this style, and (2) they did a really great job with it here. There’s also lots of more “traditional” BBQ sauces if you want to add those. I thought it was phenomenal. The corn bread was pretty solid. The potato salad was also very very good. The collard greens were ok, but probably the least interesting of the plate; they were a hair bitter and maybe needed a little sugar.
Will definitely be going back and also checking out their other locations in the area. My only regret is they didn’t have green beans as a side.

Had a mac and cheese that was decent. I think it could have had more flavors, but the portion size including meat was decent for $14. I like that it came with tomatoes to add freshness.
The pulled pork here is pretty good, the ribs and sliders are good too.

Food was mediocre at best. Corn bread was good, took half slab and it was overcooked, Coleslaw was okay.
The servise was bad, the cashier couln’t get out of his phone for 15 second to take my order or answer question. Took him at least 3-4 mins to finally pay attention.
Would not recommend

BBQ bowl with pork 4/5
Excellent blend of textures and flavors.
Ingredients are cut small for balanced bites.
Cornbread pudding 2/5
Dry and dense. Needs more milk or cream.

Food was awful. I ordered burnt ends and it was minced brisket . Coleslaw was terrible and corn bread was dry. I asked the cashier questions about the food and they had no idea about anything. I’ve never regretted tipping someone five dollars. They don’t even bring you the food over they just take your order and answer zero questions.
Save your money and go somewhere else

The mac and chesse and coleslaw had no seasoning, ribs did not taste great and were not tender, the pulled pork was average at best. They need to do a lot of work with the food

Genuinely disgusting food. Was so dissapointed with quality for the price. The pulled pork was so acidic I got instant heartburn on first bite. Baked beans were a disgusting sludge onlything edible was the potato salad. I hate wasting food more than anything but could not force myself to choke down this slop. 100000% not “souther style” in the slightest. Staff was kind and quick but food was awful

You can’t possibly call a place a BBQ spot with no whole chicken! You only have pulled chicken, NOT A THIGH, LEG, WING, BREAST OR EVEN A DANG CHICKEN BACK?!?!?!? And your BBQ beef ends are chopped up to look like chopped beef. It’s BBQ Blasphemy! The ribs were just okay but lacked flavor, the sausage link was cold, also with no flavor, and let’s not even talk about how terrible the collard greens were. Let me tell you how you will NOT be invited back to the cookout with this subpar “potato salad”, just gross!!!! I need whoever is in charge of this chain to go back the drawing board and start over!!!!!

Ordered the big green salad with pulled chicken, and the four side combo. Food was surprisingly outstanding. The sides were perfectly seasoned and generous in size. The pulled chicken was decent and great with their house BBQ sauce. Also got a cup of lemonade which was perfect and not too sweet. Would definitely order here again.

We had BBQ ribs with potato salad and coleslaw. The ribs were bland, and it was truly the worst coleslaw I’ve ever eaten. It was disgusting, inedible. I can’t believe coleslaw can be undercooked when the proper dressing is simply a simple process, like pouring a bag of cabbage and adding the dressing.
the atmosphere of the place is super good
