In 2010, Puerto Rican Native, Abdiel, and his wife Genny launched their family-owned catering business, followed by a food truck in 2019. After popular demand from the community, Mi Casa Kitchen opened a brick and mortar establishment in January 2023. Since then, the restaurant has expanded our catering and we now cater for a wide variety of events across Central Florida. When you visit our restaurant, you can’t miss our must-try dishes, like our mouthwatering chicken empanadas and beef empanadas. And for something truly special, try our Smoked Chicken Bowl, or steak bowl all bursting with Caribbean flavor

GIVE THEM A TRY! What an amazing family run business. Upon entering, there was no one there (no customers) but we were greeted and felt welcome. We ate the Chicken Mofongo which was amazing. When I tell you I’ve had some dry mofongo but this was moist and flavorful. Met the chef, his wife, his sister and his mom who has pass down all her recipes to him. She was the sweetest lady, she gave us a blessing before we left. PLEASEEEE go and support this business, the food is fresh, flavorful and delicious. It’s a small place with only 2-3 tables. They make everything in house even the passion fruit… AMAZING! Please give them a try! I’ll definitely be going back this weekend!

Came here for the first time today. Was intrigued by the reviews and decided to stop by on my way home. I wanted to try out this puertorrican food place and it certainly didnt disappoint. The food was truly amazing and authentic, puerto rican style. But more than that, the service was outstanding and awesome hospitality. Was able to talk with the owner and chef Abdiel and his family and they were very kind and attentive. Will definitely come back again soon. Highly recommended!

Amazing Puerto Rican food and even better hospitality. Geny and her husband were incredibly welcoming and helped me navigate the menu. She let me taste the slow-roasted chicken w/ Guava BBQ sauce and it was outstanding! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and full of flavor. Their Red beans rice on point just like Abuelas.
First visit but definitely not my last,
this spot may be a little hidden, but it’s 100% worth the drive. Authentic flavors, generous portions, and food made with love. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Puerto Rican food done right at a great price!

I was greeted by the owners and quickly madre Suggestions from the menu.
Portion were excellent
NOW , the taste was OMG. It tasted like my grandma cooked it. We had the carne frita and Mofongo. The carne frita was seasoned to perfection, crispy outside but juicy inside. I took some left overs that honestly didn’t make it home.
My mom had the steak with rice and beans and she didn’t need a knife.

I had a great experience at Mi Casa Kitchen! I ordered the shrimp mofongo and it was delicious. The flavors were on point, and the portion was generous. The service was wonderful as well — everyone was so friendly, warm, and helpful.
I also tried their Thanksgiving catering meal and it was fantastic. Everything was neatly packaged, fresh, flavorful with healthy portions. The smoked barbecue guava chicken was delicious too — I would just suggest adding a little more sauce to really bring out that amazing flavor.
Overall, Mi Casa Kitchen is a place I would definitely return to. Highly recommend!

Great service, Amazing food get the smoked chicken with the guava bbq sauce. It is not smoky I don’t like smoky flavors. Great mofongo. It is a huge difference when you are received by owners that are passionate about their food and what they’ve created for their clientele. If you want to just throw something on and get something delicious this is the place. The mother is 86 years young and all of these recipes originate from her authentic Puerto Rican home cooking.

The Tripleta is my go to when trying new places. This by far was the best I’ve had! My husband had the day special lunch pork bowl. Equally delish! They are known for Mofongo. I told owner I’m usually not a fan of this dish, because it’s dry. She was finishing my sentence! She was kind enough to bring me a sample. All as I can say is she changed my mind on my mind on Mofongo and that’s what I will be getting next time! They are only open Thursday Friday and Saturday so run don’t walk run there this weekend!

We ordered chicken wings for super bowl and they were the best chicken wings I’ve had in a long time. Delicious, seasoned and perfectly cooked. Service is always the best! I’ve had other meals and catering and the portions are above average and delicious! I highly recommend Mi Casa catering❤️
