It’s an okay location for the area. It does get quite busy and understandably the workers can get frustrated. A lot of times items are sold out or some beverages come out tasting different every time.

I went on Sunday around 5;00 pm. There were two ladies working therewonderful customer service. I only caught one of the lady’s names beth , both lady’s were a breath of fresh air after a hard day. Beautiful smiles and so attentive. Great job lady’s. It’s nice to meet people like you ☺️

“Disappointing experience today. I expected a quick, easy stop since the drive-thru was empty, but the employee was strangely impatient. Being interrupted while ordering is rude, but having my order messed up when I was the only customer there is just lazy. There’s no excuse for rushing a customer when the shop is empty.”

Great place to get my favorite donuts but the people working there are so slow! I’m in a hurry for work and school but the workers move like it’s there last day. As busy as it gets here, they need to be moving quicker!

This is the second time this has happened, and I’m honestly frustrated. I ordered online for pickup, and instead of notifying me that they were out of certain items, they just substituted whatever they felt like. If something is unavailable, PLEASE let the customer know.

The first time was through Uber Eats—I specifically asked the driver to confirm everything was in stock, and he was told yes. I got home and it wasn’t what I ordered.

Today, my partner picked up our order. Again, no one said anything, no options for replacements, no heads-up—nothing. We got home and realized the items were wrong again.

The email says to call the restaurant if there’s a problem, but no one ever answers the phone. This is the only Shipley’s near me, but the lack of communication and consistency is ridiculous. They need to do better.

We stopped here on the way out of town and ran in to get a half dozen donuts and an apple fritter. Very simple order, sure, but the ladies working the counter helped me and my daughter out in making the selections, and they were super friendly. They were personable, professional and worked the slow stream of customers well and didn’t make us feel like a number.

Best of all, the donuts were fresh and the fritter was precisely how I like it. One of the best I’ve been to in the chain to date.

So here’s the thing… I placed a DoorDash order earlier in the morning to get some stuff from there and paid in advance so when the moment I enter the store and say that I was a DoorDash order, they just started putting it together, rather than get it down once the order came through.

To start on a DoorDash order the moment they arrive, is utterly ridiculous and nonsensical. When that order comes through, the priority should be to get it together since it’s already paid for ahead of others who may want what it being ordered and that’s just how business works.

Not only that, but they need to update DoorDash whenever they run out of something on the menu, so the customer doesn’t lose out on their money practically being stolen from them, when they don’t get what they want and possibly getting ripped off from another product that isn’t of the same value.

Now I know that odds are a response from the owner will be the general apology and they’ll work in it, but I will say this: do what you intend to do, to rectify the problem, and that is to fill out the DoorDash order the moment it comes through the system, rather than wait until the DoorDash ordered comes walking through the building to pick it up. That isn’t fair to them at all, and if one pays in advance, they should get their food picked in advance, like the every other food joint does as such with DoorDash.

Great donuts! Horrible Customer Service! Placed an order 14 hours in advance. Showed up at 7am to pick up my order. Order was not ready. Was told it would take 30 minutes even I ordered day before. They didn’t have everything to fill my order, but told me I couldn’t get my money back. $190 order and I got what they wanted to give me. Not what I ordered and it was 35 minutes late and I was late for work.
