Ever since I’ve got back from travelling Vietnam I’ve been searching for a pho that takes me back to Hanoi. This is my 5th pho and it was the first one that took me there. The broth was simple but deep in flavour like northern pho should be. They even had quay which really transported me. Portion size was huge. If you want to know what Pho is about. This is the one. Get the beef pho on a cold winter day and you’ll love it. They also had very authentic Vietnamese spring rolls, they’re not my favourite but they’re still good.

Vietnamese restaurant you should visit in Manchester. Delicious foods and drinks. Amazing deserts.
Nice staff.
They also have a small shop to buy Vietnamses things. We bought “banh cuon”. Tasty!

best pho i have ever had. i am still thinking about it now and the pork spring rolls were also to die for. i wish the staff included service charge in the bill, they were all so accommodating, asking if everythings good, if you want extra sauce etc. i will definitely be coming back here when im back in manchester again!!!

I ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt, and it was really good! The broth was deeply aromatic and bursting with rich flavors—hands down the best pho I’ve had in a long time. The Cà Phê Special was loaded with a fantastic mix of rare steak, shin of beef, beef flank, chicken, pork belly, pork roll, and king prawns.

The portion size was very generous. The staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re looking for a standout pho experience, this place is an absolute must-try.

Absolutely stunning. The pho has lovely aroma and tastes really light but busting with flavour. It’s tasty and filling. This is a really good place to try Vietnamese food if you never had because it really delivers.
Stir fry beef noodles also very good and has nice flavours.
Customer service very very good and the woman is very kind. Same goes to the gentleman who took our order.
It’s busy yes but that’s not surprising. It’s worth the wait.

A friend recommended Cap he Viet and the location is convenient albeit doesn’t look like much from the outside.

When we entered it was busy and we were asked to wait in the supermarket area. Which is tiny. So we kinda just stood around for 10 minutes until a table became free. The supermarket was so small it was awkward when someone else wanted to get past. You had to do this shuffle.

We were shown our table and the place is clean but basic. Our order was taken promptly and had no issues.

The food also arrived quickly and OMG it was amazing. Before long I was stuffed but was busy trying my wife’s dish too. The spring rolls were the highlight IMO. I loved them!

If you want great food and what feels like an authentic experience then you can’t go wrong! Next time I’m in Manchester, we will definitely be back!

Hands down the best of the best Pho I have ever had in my life. After trying all the Pho Manchester has to provide, I would recommend Ca Phe Viet as an absolute must. If you’re looking for the #1 Vietnamese restaurant in Manchester city, it’s this one. I have already been here over five times (edit twenty*) now and have nothing but praise. I would especially mention that they have amazing vegetarian and vegan options available!

My go to vietnamese restaurant. My favourite is the bun bo hue, has a little kick to it and uses my favourite thick vermicelli noodles too.

You should also get the fried spring rolls as the skin texture is totally different from your standard spring roll skin. If you want something more refreshing then order the summer rolls.

It’s always busy during the weekend. Just a note with small kids, they only have one high chair but smaller pram fits fine near the table etc.
