My extended family and I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant after attending a funeral. We were pleasantly surprised by their ability to accommodate our large group, providing us with a separate room for our gathering. To enhance our dining experience, we decided to order our meals family style, allowing us to share and savor a variety of dishes together. The restaurant offers decent Chinese cuisine, which satisfied our taste buds. However, I must mention that I am unable to give a full 5-star rating because we did not have the chance to try their sushi yet. I believe that experiencing their sushi would have added another layer of enjoyment to our meal. Nonetheless, I appreciate the restaurant’s efforts in catering to our needs during this challenging time.

Koi Chinese Cuisine and Lounge is a great Chinese and Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s a modern upscale casual restaurant with lower than market pricing. It is decorated with Asian decor adding to the ambiance. I had the pleasure of talking to the owner. He cares so much about his food that he brought a consultant in to taste his dishes to help bring them up a notch. They have a delicious hot and sour soup to start your meal. Their PuPu platter is really solid, the beef teriyaki being the highlight. They do the old school circle style shrimp. The shrimp coating had a nice crunch without drying out the shrimp on the inside. The chicken fingers were cooked perfectly. Crab rangoons were delicious. I am usually more of a celery fan on my egg rolls, however theirs had a really nice flavor, I really enjoyed it. Wings had a perfect crisp and were very juicy. I enjoyed these more with a little duck sauce. Both the spareribs with and without the bone were extremely tender. I suggested a little more charring. They were very good though. I had pork fried rice without onions (personal preference), this was very solid. I really liked it. The shrimp with lobster sauce was one of the best I’ve had. It wasn’t salty or sweet, just perfect flavors. Shrimp tasted fresh and had a nice texture. Kung Pao chicken was delicious. Had a little kick that sneaks up. Orange beef was really tender with a delicious sauce. I was extremely happy with my meal. They also offer a bunch of lunch and dinner specials. I think that you will see some of the items I had elevated as they grow to improve. I have eaten at all of the Chinese food places in the immediate area of Koi and without changing a thing I believe this is the best option. Check them out! They also offer Mai Tai’s (delicious) and Scorpion Bowls to go!!

Barbecue ribs on bone were fatty and without taste or sauce. Dumplings were flavorless as well. Crab rangoons didn’t have much flavor. My main beef dish was just okay when normally it tastes fantastic. I will never order appetizers again. Red curry was good.

Very cute restaurant it even has a little koi pond out front. I have never had to wait for a seat there even though there will be many cars in the parking lot.

I have loved Koi for its fresh and flavorful food however, today the beef and vegetables was thick and slimy. The sauce must have been old and reused. I ordered fried shrimp, it was cold and mushy like old shrimp that started to deteriorate. Costumer service is always good but I was very disappointed with the food and the stomachache I had afterwards.

I really really wish i could give no stars at all. HORRIBLE FOOD AND EXPERIENCE . I ordered a crispy noodle pad thai meal and paid $19 for a plate of noodles that were crispy and chicken and shrimp in a separate container which literally took less than 5 min to prepare . Poor presentation. I’ve never ever had crispy pad thai this way where the noodles are not mixed in with the sauce and meat . The food was too salty and the noodles lolle as though it had been sitting out a while . Very overpriced and not worth even a 5 min wait .
I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN
FYI ,the pic shown is the noodles that has already been mixed in with the container of chicken and shrimp. Poor presentation and very salty .

If you get the chance to try the sesame shrimp in this place you have to, it’s so good and the portions are not cheap. The price is also quite acceptable

This was our first time ordering Koi tonight, and unfortunately, we found bugs in our egg drop soup. The staff was friendly for a pick up order. However, with the bug, I can’t give it higher than 1 star
Edit:
Next day and we’re all sick. We might have to report to health department

ordered vegetable pad thai. No vegetables other than a few “piece’s” of broccoli. Not even a 1/2 of a broccoli floret. A piece of lime was in the food. why? It had zero taste to it other than lime. It was the worst i’ve ever had and i’ve ordered from there several times. First time for Pad Thai and i’ll never order from there again. It was truly awful!! Guess they stopped caring. What a shame.

There was no wait when I walked in, the service was great and the server had knowledge of what was on the menu. He recommended me to try their Lo Mien and some sushi which is what I ordered. The portions served were a decent size for an affordable price. I even shared what I ordered with the person I ate dinner with and we both were satisfied.
