Absolutely fantastic. My culinary adventures have spanned several continents, and I would put this experience near the top of the heap. Service was outstanding, Korvin did an excellent job timing everything. It was a treat to spend a special evening with my aunt, and they kindly allowed me to bring my own wine. The corkage fee was reasonable. Had the watermelon salad, ribeye special, and panna cotta. Everything was perfectly seasoned and lovingly prepared. Highly recommend!

Tonight was my first time trying lodgepole and it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the pork chop and had about half of my plate before I cut into the bone part and noticed it was a bit raw. We checked with the staff and they instantly made an entire new dish for me, while offering something to hold me over. That gesture was very nice and I am not one to complain because I know I could not cook a porkchop.(that’s why I ordered it) I patiently waited for my new dish and it was just as good! At the end they took the porkchop off which they said was because that’s how the owner feels about these kinds of situations, and that speaks to the character/integrity of the restaurant and its staff! The food was great, atmosphere was very nice and the service is exactly what you look for when going out!

Tried this “compact,” local, upscale restaurant for the first time on a Sunday in September, right when they openned. Place filled up fast, so likely you’ll need to make a reservation most times.

Basic, scaled-down menu with a descent wine list. Chose local wine and enjoyed.

The 16 ounce Rib Eye Steak ($75) was ordered by six and split. Apps were: Corn Fritters (good), Olives (not worth it), Bread ($$), Gabonza Beans (excellent). Tried ice cream cake with fudge topping for dessert. All enjoyed.

Service was adequate.

Nice, open, large room with basis interiors.

Would return for special occasion, but found pricey for area.

First time in after a number of friends suggested.
Nice inside space with ample space between tables.
Very nice wine menu by the glass and bottles.
Started with Pickled Deviled Eggs and stuffed peppers, both were delicious!
All entrees were well portioned and the halibut fish special was very balanced with the sauce not overpowering the flavor of the fish.
Dessert was the ice cream cake.
I’ll definitely be back in the summer for outdoor dining!

Really excellent food and experience. We started with butternut squash fritters; they were so smooth and fried to perfection. Also, the beet salad is very good. For mains, had risotto that included smoked trout and various mushrooms. The smoke on the trout was excellent – like honestly the best trout I’ve ever eaten. The chef’s cut of the night was 14 oz. ribeye – also expertly prepared.
Overall, truly excellent and will look forward to returning. Definitely go here!

Such a hidden gem. I didn’t expect such a great dining experience in a small town, but they did it. And it’s just amazing. This place can easily get on the Michelin guide if they open the restaurant in a bigger city. And if they couldn’t get on the list, it’s Michelin’s loss, not theirs.

Food is simply delicious. Ingredient is fresh and of high quality. All the things on the menu look familiar, you have seen them at other resturants many times before, but they execute so well and that’s why they stand out.

We had meat and cheese board, market salad, smoked Idaho trout pappardelle and wagyu carne asada. We loved everything coming out from their kitchen and we emptied every plate in minutes. The seasoning is just right. They don’t over season the food, like what some fancier restaurants would do in fear of lacking the flavor, but they try to highlight the original flavor of the ingredient instead. Their wagyu carne asada is cooked to medium by default but incredibly tender and flavorful. I can’t wait to come back and have more.

Did I mention they are also a tip-free restaurant? And the staff there are some of the happiest people I’ve seen, while providing some of the best services we’ve got so far. This is how you know their employees are treated well.

We started with half a dozen oysters, absolutely tasty and fresh. Then, the Tortilla tuna salad was absolutely catchy! For our main dishes, we had the chef’s cut steak and house seafood. The steak is perfectly cooked, and the fish is crispy on the outside but moist on the inside! It’s a blast, so good. We will definitely come back
Also reservation is recommended

A must “dine here” place! Great food, service and atmosphere! The New York Strip was so tender and delicious – one of best we have had. Wagu was great- but liked the NY strip even more! Rigatoni was super tasty too! Great presentation of food – reflecting high quality of everything. Service and venue top notch! If you haven’t eaten at Lodgepole – make sure you go soon! (Reservations best – we got lucky without one – but likely because we came near opening – a popular place to go!)

Absolutely lovely experience. My host Madailein and bartender Ronnie were both so eloquent and had great suggestions for food and wine to pair with! They really made the experience next level with their excellent customer service. The food was amazing, well balanced flavors, perfectly cooked meats and delicious sauces! I cannot recommend a better place to treat yourself or a loved one to a nice dinner
