We had an amazing meal at El Chatos Tacos and Tequilas—everything was fresh, flavorful, and spot-on authentic. The tacos were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the flautas were crispy on the outside with that great filling inside, and the quesadillas? Absolutely delicious—cheesy, gooey perfection. Don’t skip the queso and salsa—they were both outstanding, with just the right kick and freshness that kept us dipping nonstop.
The food is top-tier (easily 5 stars), service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere has that fun, welcoming vibe that’s perfect for a casual dinner or hangout. Highly recommend— we’ll definitely be back soon!

This restaurant is in a converted gas station, right off the road, but DO NOT LET THAT DETER YOU! Where do I start? From opening the door, we were greeted with such warmth. We were immediately seated and Jorge our waiter had asked us if we had been there before, and we had not. He took our drink orders. I ordered a cucumber watermelon (water? I think it was) and my BF ordered a cucumber agua Fresca. Both were so good! For our food, taking Jorge’s suggestion, I ordered a tinga tostada, and mg BF ordered a tinga quesadilla and a sopa de fideo. For dessert, I ordered churros. After hearing that my BF loves posole, the chef came out and brought him a small sample to try, which he LOVED. She came out and introduced herself. She’s from Jalisco, Mexico and that’s where her cooking is from. I cannot say enough about how nice and hospitable everyone was. We cannot wait to come back here again. Next time, I’ll be trying the margaritas!

I will say we have been dying to visit your place for the absolute longest! I won’t say much after this unless you want to contact me privately, but the only reason why we will be back to visit is because the food tasted amazing and Alexis the bartender was l amazing and the sweetest! I won’t tell you the week I’ve had and what I have coming up tomorrow, but let’s just say it’s an extreme tragedy. Today was a day I needed to just unwind and breathe, and I was a little bit disappointed in this visit, but Alexis made everything absolutely wonderful! The only reason why it would be back is because of her! Please give her a raise! She made me feel heard and seen.

Their chicken tinga is my absolute favorite — so flavorful and perfectly cooked every time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine warmth — not just from the staff, but even from the other customers. It truly feels like being welcomed into a big family.

Great food!! We had several of the tacos and the queso&chips. All were excellent. Margaritas were spot on and the Mexican Candy shot was perfect ending to the evening. We will definitely be back!!

A converted gas station in an area that historically that has been hidden. It’s next to the “Finish Line”, another hidden spot. The Margaritas are awesome as well as the Michealda’s as well the Margaritas and Mexican Mule drinks are great. The menu is simple but chocked full of Flavor! The Owner and his Wife are Genuine! “Chato” is enthusiastic about his success! The staff is great and hopefully this place will get super popular…well maybe not too popular!
