Hidden Gem… you have to try it to believe how good this food is! Portions are plentiful! Customer service top notch and friendly! Wait time are very reasonable! Clean, clean and restrooms are spotless! Please try them… they’re in moundville, Tuscaloosa!

I had never eaten here because I didn’t know it was there. We got take-out, and I got my usual General Tso’s chicken. I know every place/cook has their own way of cooking, but usually they are somewhat similar. This one tasted great the first few bites, but then things started heating up. I started sweating. Wow! To say it was hot is not doing it justice. I counted out 10 (ten!) hot peppers in that little dish! Not counting the chopped into the sauce heat. It was too much for me. The burning in my mouth became unpleasant so I couldn’t eat any more. I would eat here again, just not order anything hot. It did taste great.

This is my favorite place to eat at. Just wish they had more dishes. Buffett City has more dishes but Hot Wok Express has the best in taste, & amount of food given. They also have folks that treat you better. We will be back.

Very sweet family! Best Chinese food around. Best prices and you definitely get your money’s worth! Never had a bad experience here. Food is always fresh and when I come from South Carolina it’s the first place we grab food from. Excellent customer service!
