I’m going to start by applauding the customer service. I had my boyfriend order this for me to pick up and he forgot the garlic bread, parmesan, and chili flakes. So when I arrived and asked to order those separately, the kind man at the host stand took care of it, free of charge. I even pushed to pay before I left and he simply smiled, declined, and said “Just next time, try the cheesy bread instead.” Totally above and beyond, and that alone would get me to return.
However, the food blew me away. Great portion, well cooked noodles, and rich sauce for the rigatoni bolognese, and the garlic bread was crunchy and flavorful. I sent it in my work group chat immediately to tell everyone that we have a winner lunch spot just a few blocks away!
I will be back, with my coworkers and my boyfriend in tow, soon (and I will try the cheesy bread)!

Ok so it is my first time ordering from here..saw a video on instagram of the food and I was sold. So today I finally ordered for my food to be delivered. Now why the delivery person give me someone else’s order, wrong name and wrong food. I don’t eat shrimp and I was dreaming about that pasta video. Nevertheless, I contacted the driver immediately and the store. Rusty was so kind and understanding of the mistake the delivery person did and we resolved the mistake of the driver. Well on round 2 my food was delivered and it was what I ordered and it was everything my mouth thought it would be. It was good and even a lil note on it which provided a personal touch and the customer service and besides the food is the reason they are now my GoTo for pasta and stuff. I miss the old days when restaurants had their own delivery person, now u order on these apps and the delivery person don’t care if they pick up the right order or not & it’s not fair to the business or the customer But thank you so much Rusty for being kind and providing great customer service.

We ordered the rigatoni pasta with the marinara sauce and grilled chicken and we also ordered the macaroni cheese with Parmesan cream and grilled shrimp. Honestly, both of them were to die for. Me and my husband absolutely loved the place and we will definitely be regular customers.

I live in the neighborhood and was thrilled that Hank’s brought back the pasta bar. I’m making my way through the menu and each dish was fantastic, including my old favorite, mafalde & sausage, as well as classic dishes like rigatoni bolognese, fettuccine and chicken, lasagna and the monthly special. The orders are made shortly before your pickup time and leftovers reheat well. It has quickly become my favorite takeout option in Old Town!

Hospitality was quite good. Greeted at the front entrance with a smile. Server was friendly and gave expectations of the portion sizes and what he recommended. Restaurant was clean and inviting. The music choice was great too. We got the spaghetti and meatballs with the eggplant parm. We couldn’t even get half way through it. The gelato was tempting but that’s for our next visit. 🙂

Love this place! You’re immediately greeted with friendly staff. My boyfriend got the rigatoni bolognese and I ordered Mafalde & sausage. Both options were absolutely delicious. Outstanding establishment the host downstairs directed me to the second floor for pickup and was absolutely delightful. I cannot wait to come back and try more of their amazing food!

Stumbled across this pasta bar in the first few days of their re-opening. Have to say they are off to a great start. Creative dishes, lots of options and reasonably priced. Oh, and the food was delicious!

The food was fine. Not worth $18 for some pasta but fine. I’m more concerned about the service. My friend took me here for my birthday and when we arrived there were 6-7 outdoor tables available. We explained that we had a reservation, and asked him for an outdoor table. The host checked the list, telling us that we didn’t include patio seating the request. He was incredibly rude & condescending. It felt like we were being reprimanded by a teacher. We are both women of color, from Trinidad and Uganda. We were sat next to the entrance and the host booth, acknowledging his rudeness. But to make things worse we noted the way he spoke to other customers (not of color). Two women requested a table and without skipping a beat he gave them the choice: indoor or outdoor seating. Another couple showed up with a reservation and he didn’t check his list before seating them outside. Additional outdoor seating was available at all times. Both of these interactions happened within 20 minutes of us being seated. I wouldn’t recommend it, you can have a far more comfortable experience with better quality Italian for a better price elsewhere.
