Tried Taste of Paradise over the weekend. It’s been open for a few months in Bartlett near Half of Half. Buffet is a great way to explore and taste various Indian dishes. I didn’t try anything I did not like. Some things were a bit spicier but nothing I couldn’t handle.

We came here for a weekday buffet and the food was absolutely amazing! The buffet had coconut rice, chicken curry, biryani, chicken tikka masala, and so much more. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the staff were so friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

The place looks nice with a pleasant atmosphere, the restaurant was not full, yet it was very very slow service and a bit confusing but they just opened today and are a work in progress! They asked after a minute of looking at the menu the first time what I wanted to order and I didn’t know,and that was a mistake on my part because it took 10 minutes or more for them to get back with me and I ordered spicy Chettinad Chicken and garlic naan, and my waitress informed me it would be up 35 minutes for my order to be ready and it did take some time but not 35 minutes more like 20 minutes but the food was worth the wait! I wanted to order an appetizer but couldn’t make up my mind and just went with simple this time and I plan on coming back for the lunch buffet!!! So I can try more things!! Then hopefully I will know what to order for next time.

We had their lamb Curry, the saag paneer, and the spinach appetizer. All of the food is really delicious with lots of aromatic spices. The curry was rich but not too heavy. The spinach appetizer was spinach leaves dipped in chickpea batter served with tamarind and a minced chutney sauce. The appetizer was late and they seem to understaffed, but everyone was very pleasant. The atmosphere is still under construction as they just opened and are still decorating.

Not a very good first impression, sadly. I never knew chicken could be so dry in butter chicken… They skimmed us on the rice for two meals and only gave us one container of rice which was hardly enough for even one meal so we had to make out own rice. The goat curry was delicious but everything was VERY under seasoned… bummer
I know they just opened so ill give them another shot and update this review if it gets better.

Had lunch there and the food was GREAT. Very friendly staff. Wide variety of dishes to try on the buffet–very tasty! Food is not too spicy, freshly prepared. Definitely going there again, and shared with family. We support LOCAL in Bartlett, TN

02/14 @ 6.35 we ordered 3 dishes & naan. We where seated in a booth next to the faux wall. They have some sort of timed air freshener that is really awful. It went at least 4x during our 1.5 hours in the restaurant. Every interaction we had with waitstaff we had to initiate. No one (3 wait staff) interacted with us. Chicken biryani was very good, out of the 3 it was the best. The biryani came out way before our other 2. We waited another 10 minutes for our other 2 dishes. I had to remind a waiter we ordered naan x2. We only ever received 1 order. The decor is lacking, the wait staff is lacking. There are other options for Indian food. We probably won’t we back.

I was in Memphis and stopped in after searching for Indian spots near Bartlett. The staff greeted me promptly and were welcoming. I ordered gobi Manchurian and 2 paneer dishes for takeout that were delicious. I haven’t tried their dinner buffet but will definitely return based on my experience this evening. I looked around the restaurant and it was clean and spacious to boot!
