Fully decked out for Christmas, this restaurant was a lot of fun to visit.
When I told the cashier that it was my first time to eat at Ono Hawaii, she took a moment to give me the rundown of the menu.
The food came out at a good pace. It was hot and fresh. The portions werr very generous.
Everything was very clean. The tables, condiment bar, and the soda fountain were fully stocked and shiny.
Even the restroom was clean.
Definitely recommend this Ono Hawaiian.

This place is pretty slow, but the food is ok. When I went the orders were made with no regard to when the person ordered. Just made and handed out randomly. So we had to wait for about 40 minutes. That’s a long time for fast food while watching others who came after you leave with larger orders. Musubi were very non-uniformed.

Looking at the other reviews, I realize I am not the only one who Will not be going back to this one location. First and LAST time. You have been warned. 12.10.15 around 8 pm, Laura the manager was just coming back from her break. I watched her have a really bad attitude almost argumentative with the customer picking up ahead of me. When the customer asked to speak to a manager we were both SHOCKED Laura with the mean attitude was actually the manager. Then, numbers that were 6 numbers after mine were being called and when I asked she gave me attitude saying my food just takes longer to prepare because we ordered a family meal. Nonsense. Everyone in the restaurant was irratated because workers were cleaning toilets and sweeping to clean up 1 HOUR before closing when there were at least 7 tables of people waiting for food. I felt really uncomfortable sweeping the floor right next to me and deflating the santa when we were still eating. The staff here all had a very poor attitude.

My first and probably the last time at Ono Hawaiian BBQ. Portions are tiny, spent $18 and left hungry. I ordered their Salad with grilled chicken breast, a side order of veggies and BBQ beef. Very skimpy on meats. Also, everything I got tasted subpar.
Based on the quality and quantity of the food it was 2 stars (max) experience. Gave them 3 cause the place was spotless and the team members were friendly and attentive to my needs.

Being from Florida there’s really no good Hawaiian BBQ places that are like this. So every year I come out to California I cannot wait to get teriyaki chicken from this place.

The staff is always friendly and the portions are generous. This location has been my favorite in the 6 years I’ve been flying out here. So I just wanna give a 5 star to the food and to the staff of Ono’s !!

Travon was rude. We have come here since 2008 the customer service is becoming worse every visit. This is our LAST TIME.

As long as people pay for the price you ask for, they should get the good quality of food and services. The chicken is burned and the cabbage is not cooked . If you are going to provide burned or uncooked food, you should let the customers know before they pay. The only way a business can survive is to keep the quality of the services and the quality of food. People can tell the difference!
