Ordered delivery from Akebono and amazed by the quality. I have lived in Westchester all my life, have been searching for a go-to sushi place for years, and never quite found a particularly impressive place. Akebono completely surpassed expectations and delivered fresh, delicious, high quality rolls. I ordered the Fantastic Roll, Spicy Tuna, Salmon Cucumber, and Spicy Crab. Blown away. This will definitely be the place I order from when I’m craving sushi from now on.

Okay sushi, great service. They have an all you can eat menu with good kitchen food and some okay sushi options.

We got the heartbreaker roll, seared tuna roll, Vegas roll, out of control roll, pink lady till and the Sakura roll. The tempura shrimp and crab in the rolls weren’t crispy at all. And the seared tuna roll was supposed to have that both inside and on top of the roll, but there was only seared tuna on the top.

Otherwise, service and ambience was great and ayce was $35, which is an average cost.

Your typical AYCE sushi spot. That said, they have the freshest fish I’ve had compared to other AYCE places but it’s also the most expensive one I’ve been to.

Gratuity is included in the check, though I’m not sure what percentage. For two people, with tax and gratuity included, the total came to about $90, so it’s definitely on the pricier side.
Service was good. The green tea ice cream was high quality. Free street parking is available after 6 p.m.

If you order any of their tempura, ask for the sauce on the side! bc it comes already drenched in tempura sauce and what seemed like sweet and sour sauce??

Amazing service, food quality and presentation. Go for the all you can eat buffet; officially they have a 2 hour time limit but they’re very lenient if you spend a lot of that time waiting on your food, so no pressure to get too much in one plate. I recommend just trying 1 of everything that looks good and going for variety. Definitely try the fried Oreos too, they’re the best dessert you’ll find in town.

Excellent new Japanese All You Can Eat in Tarrytown! Nice and fast service, we went on a Sunday for lunch. Food was very good and super fresh!

After Ichiro closed, this our newest favorite Japanese AYCE restaurant in Westchester, given them a try!

Excellent delivery and amazing all-you-can eat, I order from here often and it never disappoints. Fairly priced, consistent quality, good atmosphere, attentive service and a big parking lot in the back.

I will start by saying that if I came here by myself and other “big eaters”, this would easily be a 4.5 star review. But I came with the wife and kids and they were not happy customers.

The biggest problem here is that almost every dish is heavily sauced, when it doesn’t need to be. Lightly sauced could be tolerable, but for a kid that enjoys the taste of salmon, he could not stomach the dish because it was swimming in sauce (dad pun ~ intended). Even the noodles had sauce that was too sweet. The only thing that the kids enjoyed from the Kids hibachi menu was the fried rice which had no sauce, just very nicely fried rice. Even the hibachi steak I ordered from the all you can eat menu had way too much sauce; I would recommend putting the sauce on the side so the customer can control how much sauce they will eat.

The service was nice and the restaurant itself was neat and spaced out very well.

Disclaimer: if you are looking for a full Hibachi experience, this place does not offer that. They cook the food Hibachi style in the kitchen, there is no chef that will cook the food at your table as they do not have Hibachi style tables for customers to dine around.

Now on to the good. Their sushi rolls are excellent. If you order the all you can eat sushi rolls, they seem to be the same quality as the other rolls that are al la carte. I ordered about three different rolls (spicy bincho, something that had a wasabi sauce, and a yellowtail roll) and enjoyed each one. I also had the shrimp tempura which was light and fried perfectly. The green tea ice cream was also very good.

If I were to come back knowing what to expect with others that can eat three-four rolls, this will be an excellent experience.

First and foremost I must say that the food is really good. But unfortunately the service is the worst. My family and I had a horrible experience at this restaurant. We got there around 7pm however we didn’t start eating until 8:35.Then We saw people who arrived later than us being served twice and 3 times before we had our first meal. Imagine waiting over an hour while everyone is eating around you including some whe came after you. I mean it was so bad that they served us the main course without the rice we ordered and waited until we finished to bring the rice with nothing besides water and ice-cream as deserts. This is the most unwelcome place I’ve been in recent years. We will never comeback again.

Best sushi in New York and somehow the best price. My brother and I pushed the limits with how much food we could get with the buffet, and they clearly wanted to meet our expectations. Very friendly staff and excellent flavor.
