Informal eatery with a pared-down interior serving hearty plates of homey Burmese dishes & beers.

This is a small shop with a very local, family-style feel. The tea leaf salad was delicious, and the other dishes were decent as well. The only downside is that the food options are a bit limited, but the service is very warm and welcoming.

Very disappointed with the food. I had high expectations from the reviews. I’m hoping this was just an off day for them. Chicken wings were not fully cooked (they are still translucent and red on the inside! ). The calamari had no seasoning although the tempura was light and crispy. The mango salad was tasty (the pea powder was a surprise in the texture). Flavors were just average. I’ll hope for better next time.

This place is a gem!! The servers are great, and the food is so good! We ordered all vegetarian, and all the food was tasty- not too oily, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We didn’t order any drinks or dessert but they had plenty of options. The server shared that the restaurant is tucked away on the side street and they struggle to attract customers… so, go eat there if you are looking for good food in a cozy environment with excellent servers.

First time here last week. Amazing service, very helpful, lots of vegan options, and very accommodating. Couldn’t decide between lettuce or cabbage for our tea salad, our server immediately offered to do half and half! Great selection of mixed drinks as well as non-alcoholic beverages. Burmese Ice Milk Tea was made for us with coconut milk, no hassle. This is a strong tea, so lots of caffeine, just a heads up on that. The food came dish by dish as it was prepared, but was all brought quickly to our table. Lovely, interesting decor. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We will do take out in the future and definitely dine in again. Pricing in this review is at the lower range of $30-50 per person before tax and tip based on all of us having shared several dishes, each having one cocktail, and the Burmese tea. We feel it’s reasonably priced compared to other similar restaurants and a generous tip was well-deserved. I realized we hadn’t taken any pictures until we were well into the entrees, but will do so next time! Sticky mango rice was yummy and just the right ending to a perfect meal.

Loved lunch here. Came with a friend. he had the chilli beef with Burmese fried rice and samosa. I had the curry beef with pickled mango, coconut rice and tea salad. Loved the warm customer service, delicious, affordable food and ambiance. What a find. Came here after visiting the Museum on Main. Will have to return to try more items

Tasted some of their offerings at the downtown Sweater and Spirits stroll. Loved it. Decided to come back and try more. We each had a cocktail which were both very tasty. We ordered the Ginger salad, black pepper chicken, garlic pork and coconut rice. We were not disappointed!!! All were excellently prepared and filled with flavor. We will definitely be back !!!

I very much enjoyed their food and tasty lunch menu options.
I opted for the sesame chicken, tea leaf salad and coconut rice.
The sesame chicken was quite tasty. It did feel almost like fast food due to it being so fried but it was good nonetheless.
The tea leaf salad was quite interesting and fresh, I was surprised at the variety of the ingredients and was pleasantly surprised.
As for the coconut rice, I was surprised when it arrived and was white (I expected a light brown color) however, it didn’t retract from the very nice texture and flavor. Would recommend

Went with our team for lunch. We had a reservation for it. We just loved the food and service. Food was served within 10 min of placing the order. They were all flavorful. We just emptied everything we ordered. Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup & Lemongrass chicken are must try. Deserts were good too. Parking is tricky as there is limited parking in Division street but, there are ample road side parking available around the block. Will surely re-visit this restaurant for the yummy food.

Went here for dinner on a Friday night. We got seated immediately. However there were two LOUD – 12 people each – groups already in the restaurant. We let the server know, he asks what he should do.
We ordered a lot of food here. For starters, the Platha and Vegetable Curry Dip, Fried Tofu, Burmese Tempura & their Samosa Soup. For the main course, we ordered their Burmese Mixed Vegetables Curry & Fiery Tofu and Vegetables. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Garlic Noodles & a couple of servings of their Coconut Rice.
All their food was just okay. It had a good texture, but not much taste. The Pumpkin dish seemed like it was a warmed up readymade pumpkin puree with veggies. Chicken biryani was the only decent dish in all of the things we ordered.
Definitely, not coming back here for seconds.

Came here with my family this weekend. The food was delicious, our favorites being the tea leaf salad, and the various noodle dishes we ordered. But what really stood out was our waiter Adrian. He was so warm and friendly and gave good recommendations. Probably some of the best service I’ve had in a restaurant in a while. Will definitely be back!
