Day visit to Versailles….. between the Palace and the Trianon we did lunch. And selected here…. halfway between the two. What a wonderful French restaurant….it encapsulates everything you think of for French hospitality. We chose the veal escalope and the beef carpaccio. Both were superb. Exactly what was needed in the heat if the midday sun. Combined with a bottle of Peyrassol Rose…a wonderful organic wine…what better way or place to spend an afternoon with the man you love.

The salmon tartare was a flawless start, followed by a Scottish Angus steak that was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth. The accompanying sauce added an extra layer of deliciousness. The Crème brûlée was a delightful finale, paired perfectly with an Irish coffee. The staff were exceptional – professional, friendly, and attentive, enhancing our overall experience. The restaurant itself exuded beauty both inside and out. Very average service (wine arrived in the middle of the main course) and very average food (overcooked fries, overcooked steak). Suggest you go elsewhere for a better experience at the same price … there are lots of better alternatives.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE because of their customer service. We wanted to take Cafe Courmand (4 people) at 2 pm but we were kicked out that they accept only customers who are going to eat (it was almost empty). Very rude.
