Came in waited 20 minutes to put our order in, ordered 1/2 lb pulled pork and the taco combo. Waited 45 minutes for our food to be ready while people who ordered after us got their food before us, even though it was no more food than we ordered. We finally got our food and it is mediocre at best. The pulled pork is flavorless and tastes nothing. The tacos were the only thing edible in the whole combo. The rice and beans were so salty they went straight to the trash. It was like drinking salt water with extra salt. For the price, amount and terrible taste it is not worth the money. The only thing good was the staff who was friendly but the food was terrible.

Ever since my Texas BBQ road trip, I’ve been on a quest to find the best brisket this side of the Grand Canyon. I got the brisket sandwich with a side of chili beans. The chili was good. Very hot with nice flavor. The brisket sandwich was decent. I prefer my brisket to be heavy on the smoke. This was just cooked in an oven. It was tender and fell apart, which is a good thing. I chose to not have cheese. I prefer the flavor of the meat.

One of the best lunches we’ve had in a long time, including our recent two week trip to Europe. Their brisket sandwich out of this world!

Good tasting food but very expensive for the little amount that you get. If I wanted portion control, I would eat at home. They used to give large portions of fries when I would go in as a special treat to myself, now I barely get any for over $7. Not worth it.

Chicken tacos and smoked half chicken both excellent! Really flavorful and fresh! Chicken tender and moist. Great value too.

I had placed and larger order in advance. The order was ready on time. I was charged the retail after using my rewards card. This was corrected quickly before I got home. Manager was awesome. Did I mention the food. Ordered Pork, Brisket, and Tri-Tip. Flavor is great. Also included was more than ample supply of BBQ sauce. Also great! If you’re traveling through this area it’s worth making a stop.

As far as the atmosphere goes it’s a gas station. But it’s in the Hills right across from the lake it’s a beautiful view outside. Everybody there is really friendly. But as far as the food goes it’s such a small amount for such a high price it’s good food I just wish it was a little more food a little less money and you can put something on the sandwiches besides meat and bread.

Top notch pit stop before camp ground every year and it’s a ritual and the pull pork and the pickle are the best and mango habanero

Excellent food, chicken and pulled pork sandwiches are the best. A+++++++. Edit: They increased the price by almost 75% and now they used a different bread, reducing the quantity of food to almost the half. Probably not going back.

Horrible service, I waited 25 minutes and they didn’t even acknowledge that I was there. I’m not spending money to be disrespected. Never going back there again, not worth the disrespect or wait for junk.
