My American Dream started out as serving at a restaurant as a means to pay for my college tuition. Soon enough, I was able to take over the restaurant with one clear vision – to provide fresh food for my family. It has now been over more than 10 years. Preparing fresh salmon daily to meet the highest standards. Using top quality ingredients. Never any MSGs. Sauces expertly and uniquely crafted in-house. In 1 year, we sell over 10 tons of salmon. In 1 year, we serve over 30,000 customers. And now marking a decade of Ginzaya, we have created so many valuable memories. I would love to continue this journey for many years to come. I cant believe I have been working near this place for years and never stopped to try them out. The food here is excellent. I was excited they had Otoro which was really good and fresh. It reminded me of the Otoro in Tokyo Japan. I also tried their sushi sampler and it was delicious. Their spicy edamame is the best I have tried so far. I simply can’t wait until I go back.

I never leave reviews but this place had the best sushi ever!!! Even as something as simple as a Philadelphia Roll was absolutely delicious!! The staff were also so kind and amazing, and the restaurant was super nice and clean!! I loved it so much, and will definitely come back for more!!

Great sushi, great service including at the bar. Blue fin tuna special and albacore tender rolls are tough to beat, and the otoro sushi is a rare treat when in stock. Always happy to get a chance at Ginzaya when I’m in these parts.

We had dinner here on Friday. There is a ton of parking at the shopping center that they are located. The ambiance is a simple Japanese restaurant. It felt like home.
We started with the tempura mix. Everything was light and crispy on the outside and the veggies and shrimp were fresh and tasty.
We got the yellow submarine roll. The brightness of the colors and the freshness of the yellowtail makes me want another one right now.
The sashimi mix was one of the best things ever. Thick cut and some of the freshest sashimi I have ever had.
Last we had the 10 piece sushi mix it had large thick cut slices of sashimi on top of the sushi rice. It melted in our mouths.
Service is outstanding and made us feel like new friends. Cannot wait to go back again.

I’ve been bringing my friends and family here for 15 years. I have the best time sitting at the bar and ordering directly from the chefs. My favorite things to order are the Elvis roll, Poke bowl and Mango hand roll. It gets very busy at peak times during the weekend so plan ahead and come early 🙂

This is an average strip mall sushi restaurant. The rice is cold, hard, and has no flavor.
I also made the mistake of ordering off their “fresh” menu which actually means it’s the vegetarian menu. The mango roll there had fried tofu in the middle and it didn’t taste good at all.
Everything else I had was “fine” but the poor quality rice is a detractor.

We had some great sushi at Ginzaya before heading to the La Mirada Theater. I ordered the Rainbow Roll, hubbs the Udon and a spicy tuna hand roll and my friend had the Bento Box dinner special. Very generous portions were given to us all! Our server was super gracious and thoughtful. The staff is great. We got free shots of something that was very tasty! Thanks for making this dinner great for us.

This is one of the most delicious sushi spots I ever went! The service was amazing, very nice staff. Greeted us right away when we walked inside and attended us quickly. I got the tiger roll and spicy tuna roll and both tasted so fresh! This is going to be my sushi spot !
