Just tried Mid East Eats a few blocks from my place in Watts and this spot was amazing. Everything tasted super fresh and full of flavor. My girlfriend got the loaded fries with chicken shawarma, hummus, feta, and all the toppings, and I got the burrito with chicken shawarma. Both were so good that we kept picking at each other’s food. Everything tasted fresh and made with love.

The mint lemonades were really good too, light and refreshing. Definitely planning to come back and try more from the menu. I love finding small local spots like this that make food with heart.

Had an amazing private dining experience! Sumer is so warm and welcoming and truly makes you feel like family. The food was incredible! The falafel was the best I’ve ever had! It was so crunchy on the outside while being soft and flavorful on the inside. We left stuffed with plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to go back again!

I finally have a spot for middle eastern food. It’s not only close but it’s probably the best I’ve ever had. I felt very welcome as a guest in their home, not surprised by the warmness and friendliness that is the Middle Eastern culture. Let’s talk about the food…wow. Let’s just say I will become a regular here. They will know me soon lol. Thank you and Salam

The best nachos in town are these falafel nachos with all the add ons.. I’m vegetarian and this place understands fusion without compromising taste. Get a mint lemonade to end your meal. The owner is super sweet and down to earth, the staff are also super sweet. I’m a fan of eating in someone’s front yard, makes you feel like a family. I keep going back

What a wonderful experience! We had a private dinner for our anniversary, and Sumer was the best host! This was by far the best Middle Eastern food we’ve ever had! 10/10! Our favorites were the falafel, mint lemonade, and lentil soup! Sumer was so welcoming. Please go when you can!

The BEST food and the BEST hospitality.. I love it ! It is authentic! The food is made with love and good quality ingredients, price is reasonable considering its quality ingredients and everything is so expensive !! They also help the community in every way that they can, they are a gift and a blessing to this world..they have made their front yard into a beautiful garden with a beautiful gazebo.
You can enjoy your meal there or take home. They also host events and fundraiser, check out their IG or website for events.
I’m a fan lol I love everything that they make (vegan) they are vegan friendly, non vegan friendly and halal.. I just wish they were in the San Fernando valley.. I come all the way from the San Fernando valley, but totally worth it, all the love they put into their business & community is worth of the drive.

We had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Palestinian Private Dining Experience, and it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sumer and Andy, whose hospitality made us feel right at home in their beautifully set up tented area.

The meal began with a delicious spread of mezze, followed by a perfectly prepared maqlubeh, and ended with amazing Palestinian coffee that tied everything together. The portions were generous, the flavors were rich and authentic, and every dish told a story.

What made the evening even more special was the opportunity to learn about the history behind the food and Palestinian culture. This added a rare and meaningful layer that elevated the entire experience. Our group was fairly large, yet everything felt personal, unrushed, and deeply thoughtful.

This was easily the best Middle Eastern food we’ve had in Los Angeles. The experience is absolutely worth the price, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for not just a meal, but a cultural journey. Do not miss it.

I had the absolute best experience here for my boyfriend’s birthday. Sumer helped me plan a surprise for him with 6 of our friends, and by the end of our meal it felt like she had become our friend too! The setting in her yard is beautiful and so unique, and the food was out of this world. My boyfriend is Palestinian, so it was really meaningful to have such an authentic home-cooked meal. Sumer really went above and beyond making a delicious knafeh per my request, and whipping up some molokhia as we were already eating after my boyfriend said it was his favorite! We had such a nice relaxing time listening to music and eating. Sumer let us stay as long as we wanted and sent everyone home with tons of leftovers, which were even more delicious the next day. I’m so glad I found Mid East Eats & can’t wait to come back for a meal & a movie night! This is such a special and unique experience – an absolute can’t miss if you’re looking for a delicious and authentic Palestinian dining experience!

My fiance and I enjoyed a meal and a movie here while we were on vacation and it was one of the best things about our trip. All of the food was absolutely delicious, from the pita chips and hummus to the chicken shawarma tacos. I had a beef and eggplant dish that I’m currently shamefully forgetting the name of and it was absolutely unbelievable. I’m not a fan of eggplant usually,, but the sauce and the spices and thr way it paired with the ground beef was perfection. The owner and her husband were very attentive to anything we needed service wise, and we watched an amazing Iranian vampire film in their back yard as we ate. You’ll never find a dining experience like this at a more traditional restaurant or on the beaten path. It felt like we were eating at a friend’s house more than going to a restaurant, a friend with great taste in movies who happens to be an incredible chef. I 100 percent recommend eating here.

Mid East Eats is absolutely delicious and provides excellent service. The food is vibrant and fresh and Sumer and Andrew definitely provide service from the heart. Their passion and kindness is evident and it makes dining with them extra special. We recently had the pleasure of hosting Mid East Eats as a vendor for an event and we received such amazing feedback and compliments on the food. I loved the unique take on falafel nachos. And a bonus was they were even good as leftovers, which nachos rarely are! Looking forward to the next opportunity to dine with them again!
